Outside of town for privacy but close enough for great access. Definitely a luxury cabin that is fully stocked with items needed to make one's stay relaxing and enjoyable. The cabin (Cattail) was just what we were looking for…the cabin itself was amazing…clean, organized with everything we needed. We planned on doing a lot during the wknd-but honestly we loved just sitting on the front porch overlooking the pond and talking. It was so quiet, peaceful with lots of wildlife!! As a farmer, who lives in the sticks, I can honestly say this place is perfectly secluded.The house was well stocked and beautifully decorated. It was very clean and they had it decorated beautifully including a Christmas tree and garland since our stay was right after Thanksgiving. The property is beautiful. Check in was easy. Only complaint was the furniture was a bit uncomfortable. I think they could use a new mattress ( we kept falling into the center) on the bed as well as a couch and chair that were on the lumpy side. Mar 29, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### A little piece of Heaven Cattail cabin is a perfect place for two people and very private. There was another cabin just up the hill but it was well hidden amongst the trees. A pond in front of the cabin has a canoe available, but no life jackets so take your own. The pond is closely monitored by two geese and two ducks. Within walking/hiking distance is a cluster of huge rocks. One cluster looks like a very old alligator.
