Overall we were very happy with our stay. The restaurant is located next to the hotel and offers authentic German cuisine. The hotel is located a short drive to the historic district of Eureka Springs, and convenient to other activities. Our dealings with the staff were always pleasant and courteous, and they were very helpful.

It brought back memories of living in Germany back in 1984-1987! The restaurant was amazing and the decor was old school. We loved it!

Nostalgic Eureka Springs Feel
If you want the "Eureka Springs" feel, this hotel is for you! The decor is 90's grandparents house complete with the mothball smell, but we didn't mind it at all! It also has so much character complete with a fireplace, rocking swivel chairs, windows even in the bathroom, and a nice jacuzzi tub. I would definitely recommend this hotel!

Little Get Away
The location was great. The restaurant was yummy. The rooms could use some updating. The room was large and had a balcony that had a nice view. I would stay here again.

A great place to stay
The room was very large and very comfortable. We made great use of the large Jacuzzi tub. The air conditioner kept it cool. We had no need of the fireplace, but plan to use it when we return in cooler times.

Fantastic!
The hotel is amazing! The lady at the front was very pleasant when I checked in. The room was much bigger than I expected it to be. This place is the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in for sure, the bathroom was spotless! The jacuzzi tub and fireplace were unexpected amenities that we got a lot of use out of. We will definitely stay here again!

Our stay was really good was comfortable. The room was clean. Everyone was very pleasant. We had no issues whatsoever. However, we were bummed that the restaurant wasn’t opened . I’m guessing it’s no longer opened.

Quaint and Peaceful Place to Sit out Back
Very cute place, quaint. The coffee maker did not work, the replacement did not, 3rd time is the charm. There was not a microwave in the room. Very pleaseant staff. We did not think the food at the restaurant was very good. Sitting outside facing the woods was very quiet and peaceful. We would stay there again.

Rooms very comfortable and clean. Staff very nice and the food “oh my gosh” at the restaurant- wonderful. The staff there also very nice except they won’t give me the recipe for the sauerkraut soup, but I know it is an old family dish. We have recommended the hotel and restaurant to others and we will be going there again.

Come for the comfort; stay for the staff.
This was our first visit to Eureka Springs and we loved it. We enjoyed our stay at the Bavarian Inn. It is a "older" place, but VERY clean and comfortable. Our room was very spacious, the bathroom was huge and loved the balcony overlooking the pines. The best part of our stay was the Staff (cannot recall her name). She was friendly and very helpful and accommodating.

The property was quaint and a bit shabby chic with the outdated room decor but it fit with the Eureka Springs ultra “Old” design and architecture. It felt like stepping back in time. The room was spotlessly clean and amenities were available in the bathrooms. Refrigerator and coffee pot were available in rooms. The sheets were a bit rough and the pillows were really firm for me but the sheets were pressed and tightly fitted to the bed, pillows were neatly placed to match the tidy qualities of the room. The air conditioning was great if you like to sleep cold. I did notice that the shrubs outside the rooms were partially dead from the freeze this past winter and needed cutting back. It would have helped to make the initial impression more appealing. The pool was unexpectedly closed for repairs. The connecting restaurant completed the feeling of stepping back into time. We sat at the bar and then took desert back to the room. We enjoyed visiting with the bartender and chef/owner. They were personal and provided great unpretentious service. Just ask and they were happy to oblige. All and all, while the accommodations were not modernly styled or luxurious, the stay met our basic needs and fit the Eureka charm for an inexpensive weekend getaway.

The king room is huge, with a full sized couch and 2 living room chairs. It is basically a suite. The gas fireplace is a nice touch. Having no breakfast is not unusual for hotels in this town, but it would be nice to have a fridge and microwave. I'm not sure if a room with those is available on request or not. I didn't think to ask. I was concerned there might be noise from the restaurant on the property, but that is no problem at all and it is only open 4 hours a day. However, if you return to the hotel between 5 and 9 PM, you may have to park a ways from your room. The Bavarian is very private with private balconies and no shared spaces. It is quiet, except occasionally hearing your neighbors jacuzzi, but it's no problem. If you would prefer a more social experience, I might suggest the Edelweiss, which has shared balcony, decks and gazebo. It also has light breakfast and fridge/microwave. The king room is smaller, but still plenty large enough. No gas fireplace or jacuzzi, if that matters to you, but very engaged owners.

Charming place in Eureka
Stay was wonderful. Really charming vintage hotel that is very well kept up. Owner cares about her place. Super clean. Friendly staff. Comfy bed. Only thing I wish was there were softer options for bed pillows. Maybe there were if I would have called the front desk and asked, but not in the room at the time. I loved the big jacuzzi heart shaped tub. Easy parking. I loved walking out our room and there’s a pretty forest right there. I would definitely stay at this quaint place again.
