The Library Suite is a None Smoking unit, located in a dairy farm 5 acres property, within walking distance to our beautiful Victorian Village! It is in a Swedish School style building, surrounded by pasture! Cozy up next to the wood burning stove with one of the books from the large eclectic selection! (no TV). The Library Suite comes with a very efficient simple kitchen, and a sofa bed for your 2 extra guest. Included with the rental of The Library Suite, you have access to our game room, adjacent to the unit. It is a very peaceful area and beautiful setting in the country; a nice respite from the city, and appreciated after a long drive. Small town peacefulness, with hiking and a gorgeous beach in your backyard. Property doesn't have a TV which should be a standard amenity in most rentals. Also, beach towels or chairs would be a nice addition since there's a gorgeous, unspoiled beach a couple miles down a quiet farm road. The suggestions above do not dim my HIGHEST recommendation for this lovely, well-maintained property. ##### Kira T. We enjoyed being in the dairy district, with cows munching the pasture grass right outside the kitchen window. The high ceilings, the 3,000 books, the abundant daylight, and the quiet of the location "outside" of town added to the delightful stay we enjoyed. ##### Jim S. Browsing the wide variety of books was quite fun. We love being a little bit out of town and walking in to the sweet town of Ferndale. Our second stay at this property, but first at the library. We have been coming back twice a year for the last several years. We love the rural atmosphere; the friendliness of Ferndale; the closeness to the redwoods, Lost Coast, Old Town Eureka, and the lovely back roads of Humboldt County; and, of course, the unique book-lined space with its soaring windows and walls of books. Sharon and Sylvia are thoughtful hosts.
