Enjoy a 3-minute walk to the sky bridges at Sequoia Park Zoo, where an original Star Wars scene was filmed. Unwind in this split floorplan 5-bedroom\* remodeled house in the desirable Cutten area, enveloped in old-growth redwoods. The house features all-white bedding, blackout curtains, a projector movie theater experience, and a bonus room\* with a pool table, darts, and foosball. Samoa Beach, trails, Old Town Eureka, the Carson Mansion, and Woodley Island Marina are all close by. WHOLE HOUSE ALL TO YOURSELF Comfort: All bedrooms feature blackout curtains for a peaceful night’s rest. All beds have 100% cotton sheets and 100% cotton blankets (duvets are microfiber). Enjoy endless hot water from a tank-less electric water heater—perfect for your larger-size group. Bathrooms feature jumbo-sized shower heads. The house is energy-efficient with blow-in insulation in the walls and ceiling. Mattresses are all medium firm and fiberglass-free. The house features a central heater and has window A/C units available by request with 72 hours' notice. The weather is so good here, we've never had anyone even request A/C though! There is no carpet in the entire house, so you can experience true cleanliness. "Life-proof" laminate flooring is installed throughout, which has an extra comfy underlayment to make walking more comfortable. Entertainment: We have 4 smart TVs featuring Roku throughout the home. We also offer a good selection of board games and poker chips/card games. There’s a fire-pit/BBQ (campfire grill and small BBQ grill) in the backyard! "BYOW / Bring your own wood." In the garage/game room, we have a pool table, foosball table, and dart board. We offer Disney Plus, HBO Go, and Netflix for your enjoyment. The living room features a projector and a Sony surround sound system for a home theater experience with movie chairs and a comfy white leather couch! Inside: Walk inside to a large living room. Kitchen fully stocked including everything you could need to cook any meal. The kitchen features a black stainless-steel dishwasher, self-cleaning gas range with quick boil, range hood, an inverter microwave for better slow cooking, and 1HP garbage disposal. The house features a split floorplan. The master bedroom is on a separate wing with an en-suite restroom. The bedroom wing of the house features 3 bedrooms, one small and two larger. A full bathroom with original redwood trim and unlimited tankless hot water serves that side of the house. Custom two-tone paint throughout. Our outside stand-alone 750 sq ft garage we have listed as a 5th bedroom/bonus room and it is not used for parking. The fully finished garage features a natural gas fireplace and two electric space heaters for the winter and window fans for the summer. Exterior: Our backyard features a natural gas grill with unlimited fuel. Also enjoy the cozy yard featuring a rhododendron tree and blackberries. Chill by the fire-pit as well! The backyard is fenced. We are located directly adjacent to Washington Elementary School, and we are one street over from Sequoia Park Zoo and the famous "Redwood Skywalk." Professional landscaping includes Japanese box-woods, hydrangeas, a rhododendron tree, strawberries, and blackberries. Redwoods are located on the street behind us and a street over behind the elementary school. The elementary school has basketball courts that are accessible via a gate on Dolbeer. If that is locked, use the W Street entrance. Avoid rain on your head with recently installed gutters. Wi-Fi: We have 500mbps Optimum internet. Office space: Calling all teleworkers! Our home features office space in the master suite and the bedroom facing Sequoia Park—enjoy the redwood views! Escape from the noise in the house and go to your private area to work. Conservation: Our home offers some green features. Our smart dimmers and fans turn off automatically a few times a day. We minimize plastic waste with our bathroom supplies. We recycle and expect guests to do the same. Enough room for all the kids and a nice little back yard for our puppy. Plenty of kitchen items and essentials like coffee and filters! Dishwasher and washing machine easy to navigate. Extra toothbrush was so appreciated as one of my kids left their entire bag at home. Nice to have stores so close too since we had to run to get her new outfits for the weekend! ##### Jessica A. The house is very comfortable and our dog was welcome which is critical. The neighborhood is good for dog walks. Some of the neighbors were a bit hostile but we were able to ignore them. When we arrived, we found the trash cans full, the washer AND dryer running, and a shattered glass in the freezer. We took the trash out, finished, folded, and put away the laundry, and got the shattered glass out of the freezer. My husband and I pride ourselves on leaving a place nicer than we found it. We noticed that there was only one kitchen towel so we went a bought two more. We swept the floor daily. We knew there were Ring cameras but we didn’t feel violated or "watched.” Then we had our son, his girlfriend and 5 year old son over for dinner. They arrived after 6 pm and left around 9\. We had such a pleasant evening with them. Then I received the message that since we had guests, we would be charged extra. I was shocked. I was informed that it was in the rental contract. I knew that if we had additional guest stay overnight, we would be charge which makes sense due to more beds being used and more towels, water, etc. But to be charged for 3 visitors for 3 hours was dumbfounding. I have been using vacation rental properties for 30 years and I have NEVER been charged a fee for inviting friends or family over for dinner. We won’t return. ##### Lisa F. At first glance, we were concerned there would not be enough room for all our family units to have the space they needed. We had the parents and 3 grown siblings with their families. It's rare to find a place that’s both spacious and well-equipped, but this one hit all the marks. The Wi-Fi was reliable, which was important for a few of us working remotely, and the kitchen had all the basics for cooking in. The beds were comfortable, and we appreciated having multiple bathrooms and plenty of towels. The location near the zoo and local restaurants was also a plus. There were so many thoughtful touches—from extra linens and air mattresses to easy-to-use appliances and lots of seating. The living area was great for hanging out, and the garage space gave us room to spread out. Everything was clean and organized when we arrived, and the host was quick to answer questions. Definitely one of the better group accommodations we've booked. ##### Jack J. I brought my extended family, and this home had plenty of beds and space for everyone. The layout was really convenient, and we especially appreciated how clean and well-kept the place was when we arrived. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals, and there were more than enough towels and linens. The location is perfect—tucked in a quiet area but still very close to the zoo and other local spots. We’ll definitely keep this place in mind for future family visits to Eureka. ##### Junesha S. The house is spacious and thoughtfully stocked, making it perfect for both relaxing and entertaining. We had kids with us, and the proximity to the zoo was a big win. The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of clean towels and linens for everyone. It was also great to have parking on-site and a functional kitchen for quick meals. The host was super responsive and helpful throughout. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in the area. ##### Julia P.
