Very unique room decor, with fun, eccentric furnishings that bring the property's "old college experience" to life. On the downside, they stuck me next to the ice machine and elevator, so it was extremely noisy. Also, if you want to relax and watch some television, you're outa luck -- the Dish package is slim and lousy. Hardly any premium channels to choose from, no TCM, nothing. And no mini-bar, as that seems to have gone the way of the dodo. Instead, you're forced to go down to the lobby to buy your ridiculously overpriced beverage or snack. Come on, bring back the mini-bar, or -- gasp! -- dare I dream? -- room service! You want to charge $300 a night to stay in Eugene? Try offering service again!
