Please note it is a rural area with tiny towns and not much to do unless you boat, swim or crawl. Have big rigs or boats? Don't worry...trailer parking is a few driveways down at Mountain Mama's fenced and monitored 3 acres lot. There are 2 security cameras at Tia Juana Cove, one facing the driveway and parking area and another on the boat dock covering all 3 slips. Please ADD pets to reservations. They loved swimming in the lake and the views from inside the cabin. We had everything we needed to cook a few meals. The bed and linens were a treat. The outside deck railing is a little precarious. Not a big deal to us, but it might be to some. The covered seating area pictured is actually behind the other cabin on the lot. We did have a deck all the way across the back of the house looking out over the lake. There is a ton of wildlife to watch. Including the racoon that got in the trash, deer, lots of birds, fish, butterflies. The house was clean and welcoming. The doors along the back side give a great view of the lake. The sheer curtains, even in the bedroom, didn’t feel very private though. Kitchen was well stocked for what we needed. Just basic things for 2 people. The hot tub was perfection. The access to the dock and water was down a pretty steep hill with several stairs. Again not an issue for us, but definitely could be for some. There are 2 houses on the lot. One is marked east and one marked west. This listing is for the west one. We would gladly stay here again as a couple.
