Super easy to walk to the downtown area and getting around town to the visitor center and RMNP was a breeze. Off street parking was good with space for a minivan with room to spare. This is the lower unit and you will hear footsteps very easily and loud conversations will filter down. Hot tub was clean and clear. You have your own hot tub but you do not have total privacy. The unit faces a back street that wasn’t very busy. There is downtown parking across the street. Having said that we didn’t feel exposed using it but just know that you can wave to people walking by on the side walk or getting to their cars. There is an outdoor space with a picnic table and grills. It was nice to have a spot to eat outside, we didn’t use the grill. Bed linens were excellent and towels were thick and large. Mattresses were ok. The queen bed definitely has a dip in the middle. My husband joked that he felt like he was sleeping in a taco. The kids didn’t have any problems with the twin over full bunk. The kitchen was well appointed and we cooked dinners without any problems. Bathroom was clean but worn. Washer and dryer were in excellent condition. No smells or stains.
