Perched at 8,440' of elevation in the private, quiet residential enclave of Windcliff Estates, just outside of the quaint postcard town of Estes Park, Colorado, on the doorstep of Rocky Mountain National Park, Montane is a half duplex (condo) that offers 3 bedrooms and 2-1/2 bathrooms, a 1-car garage and all of the comforts you need to make your family mountain memories year after year. You'll enter the home through the entryway shared with the attached neighboring duplex, Mountain Time (rent them both together for the ULTIMATE family arrangements!) where you'll enter the living and kitchen area but your yes, heart and soul will be pulled through the windows where snow-capped mountain views of the Continental Divide permeate and dominate your senses. There's an HDTV that you'll very likely forget to notice or even watch as the views take command through the wrap around windows. A wood-burning fireplace stands at the ready should the evening temperatures drop beyond your comfort level. Step through the living and dining area out to the deck for even less obstructed panoramic mountain views. In the prairie below, don't be surprised if you are visited by mule deer, rabbits, raptors, bobcats, black bears, elk or even moose! Back inside, you'll find everything you need to prepare meals in the well appointed chef's kitchen, eat-in bar for 4 or dining area that comfortably seats 6\. Just off the main living area is the primary bedroom with ensuite full luxury bath. Downstairs you'll find another living area complete with HDTV, billiard table and two more bedrooms for your guests who have shared access to the hall bath and dry sauna. Walk out from the lower living area to the outdoor deck and be eye to eye with the land and in awe of the seemingly endless mountain backdrop. Montane at Windcliff is just a few miles from the picturesque town of Estes Park and the Beaver Meadow entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Close enough to be a few minutes from the nearest restaurants, bars, pastry shops, liquor stores, retail shopping and supermarket, but set apart privately from the hustle and bustle during the busier times of the year. We had 4 adults and lots of space! The views are stunning from this property. Perfect to see the mountains. The house is really well decorated and has every amenity you could want and some more. Open layout and wonderful view of the mountains. I would recommend to future visitors. One piece of minor feedback is that I would have regular cable instead of streaming. I had a hard time finding current programming. Yes I know I am on vacation and I should be doing other things however I like to watch first thing in the morning and right before I go to bed. The location to the Beaver Meadow entrance is very close. We could also be in Estes Park within 10 minutes. The home is clean and welcoming. The hosts left us a welcome card and bottle of wine! The kitchen is well stocked with pots and pans and extras like coffee and peanut butter. We also had plenty of paper products and cleaning supplies. The beds were also very comfortable. The wifi is good as well. We even saw some mule deer in our yard. This is an excellent place to stay due to its location, cleanliness, and comfort. We would love to stay here again. Rocky Mountain National Park is such a beautiful area. There are many trails for all hiking abilities to explore. There is also so much wildlife to see. ##### Andrea J. The house had a great setup for us to spend time as a family and still give the teens their own space. I loved the steam shower! The road and driveway is a bit tricky, but it was fine this time of year.June 2023\. The pool table was fun, do need to replace some of the pool cue tips, some are actually missing. The pocket door to the twin bedroom from the bathroom was off the track, but they said they new of it and we did not use that room with only the 4 of us. The kitchen had all we needed. Having the laundry room was so nice. Being able to park in the garage was great. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the house with it's beautiful view. ##### Vicki B. Awesome views. The only thing that I was surprised by was that it was a duplex and attached to another property. I feel like this should be in the original listing, just so you don’t surprise people, but despite this you still had plenty of privacy and the house was incredible! The windy roads were a bit precarious when it snowed, but as long as you have a four wheel drive vehicle you shouldn’t let it stop you. Kitchen well stocked with supplies. Sauna was great. Nitpicking, but if there were an outdoor hot tub this place would be absolutely perfect. Close to town and RMNP. Would stay again. ##### Kyle R. It is close to downtown Estes Park, which has everything you might desire, but is situated in a quiet, secluded neighborhood. We loved sitting on the deck enjoying a glass of wine in complete solitude. It is immaculately clean and has the most well-equipped kitchen with pots/pans of high quality if you enjoy cooking. There is a bedroom and bath conveniently located on each floor. We recommend this home to all and give it 5+ stars. ##### Theresa G. The home is nicely furnished and decorated and the views are incredible. Dianna was a responsive and attentive host. While the property is somewhat remote and the cell service is poor, the wifi is excellent and I had no trouble making/receiving calls and participating in many video conferences during a busy work week here.
