Riverbend Lodge is perfectly situated with prime upstream and downstream views of the Big Thompson River. Top it all off with the backdrop of Prospect Mountain and a snowcap view of Long's Peak from the deck; and you have the perfect Rocky Mountain retreat. From Riverbend Lodge it is just a short walk into the Town of Estes Park and an easy 1.5 mile drive to the Beaver Meadows entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. The main level great room has a gas fireplace to gather at with river and mountain views all around...no artwork needed on these walls! This is simply the ideal family gathering place with its adjoining fully equipped kitchen and dining room area. Gaze out to take in the perfectly clear Colorado sky, river and mountain views!! From the great room you can step out to a fantastic deck to enjoy excellent mountain views along with the sights and sounds of the Big Thompson River! Take it all in while enjoying a cup of morning coffee, evening glass of wine, reading a good book or cooking dinner on the gas grill! This is one of the best vacation rentals we’ve stayed in. It is exactly as pictured and described, very well appointed, and has everything you would need. Wildlife grazed near the river's edge every day. Sue did a terrific job making sure the property was clean and ready for our arrival. The house had everything we need and the location was. very convenient. The owners were friendly, welcoming and very helpful. From the beautiful spotless home, the gorgeous view of the icy creek, to the wonderful management, our stay at the Riverbend Lodge was AMAZING! We couldn't have picked a nicer place to stay while exploring Rocky Mountain National Park. You can't go wrong booking this property. We had a wonderful time enjoying the view while sitting in front of the gas fireplace. And Sue was so accommodating and helpful during our stay! The entire home is well stocked with amenities, clean, beautiful, situated perfectly along the Big Thompson River, and on the western side of Estes Park to make day trips in to RMNP a breeze. Perfect for families with young kids or a group of adults. The deck and wildlife are an added bonus. Super clean and comfortable, spacious, right on the river, fully-supplied kitchen, convenient to the Park and town (I could go on). The views and grounds are absolutely stunning. We enjoyed every minute of our stay and can’t wait to go back. Hosts Sue and Mark were nothing short of gracious, accommodating and friendly. It felt super cozy and the views were spectacular! It snowed while we were there and it felt like we were in a snow globe! The driveway and sidewalk were both cleared very early in the morning, which made it very nice to be able to go grab coffee! We also enjoyed that the kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, utensils, and prep bowls! We are already planning our trip for the summer to come back!
