Located in the premier neighborhood of Windcliff Estates in Estes Park CO, this custom home was built in 2007 and offers almost 4,000 square feet of living space on two levels. Its accommodations feature the very best in home architecture, epic views, gorgeous setting, and amenities. The Aspen Leaf Experience Your experience at Aspen Leaf Chalet begins as you descend the natural stone walkway past a serene water feature, approaching the massive front door with custom etched glass. Once inside, you are enveloped in the great room. Its features are almost too many to list: a decked-out gourmet kitchen, posh living area, dining area, a large deck furnished with a gas grill, and an elegant stone wood fireplace are highlights. Plus, you'll be unable to miss the huge view windows that look out into the inspiring mountain vistas of Rocky Mountain National Park. It is well appointed and well maintained. Excellent location, amazing view, very clean, chock full of everything you’d possibly need, everything in working order. Be aware that the listing does not explicitly say that there is no AC. Maybe this is common for the area—I’m unsure. But in June, the house warmed up to 80-85 degrees. We kept windows and doors open when we were there, sure, but coming home after an all-day adventure and literally sweating in the house was not fun. It took hours to cool down to a comfortable temperature. Two other minor things: 1\. The garage door has no remote. So if you plan to park in the garage: after pulling out, someone has to go back in, hit the button, and sprint underneath the garage door in order for it to close. 2\. The property has physical keys that you need to pick up, look after, and return to the office. Just FYI—no keyless entry, plan to make two separate stops. Finally, I did have a $400+ charge on my credit card after checkout. When I inquired, the office stated it was an error, and they did promptly reverse the charge. Mistakes happen, I understand. The larger point was that I was pleased with the swift and responsive customer service to fix the problem. ##### Mindy D.
