Glendo Log Home Close to Lake

Glendo Log Home Close to Lake

8/10 Good
"We enjoyed our stay at this cabin, it was clean, well equipped and comfortable. Communication with the host was excellent. We were surprised how close it is to a railroad, thought it was more secluded. But we like trains so not a problem for us. Convenient to get to the places we wanted to go."

Remote Cabin w/ Gas Stove < 7 Mi to Town!

"Not exactly remote or private you are a ranch with houses near by different directions to get there with little help if you have questions to get there. No extra trash bags, or paper toiletries so bring your own. Relaxing for sure but you can tell it’s not stayed in often due to dead bugs etc everywhere."

Lake Views! Comforts of home w/the fun of the lake; garage/hottub/laundry & more

10/10 Excellent
"Here’s a polished review that sounds balanced and fair:We had a great stay overall! The property was clean, well-maintained, and had plenty of space for our group of five adults and two kids. It was a great home base for enjoying Glendo, and we had an awesome time on the lake tubing and wakeboarding. The only thing I would mention is that the listing describes the property as having a lake view. In our opinion, that wasn’t really the case. While the property is conveniently close to the lake, we didn’t feel there was an actual lake view from the home, so that description may be a bit misleading.During our first night, a storm rolled through and knocked out the power on one of the hottest days of the year. While that was definitely unfortunate, it was completely outside of the property’s control, and we don’t hold it against the hosts.Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place near Glendo Reservoir."
