I stayed at the Annex, which was a welcome retreat during a busy trip. It was a comfortable and clean room with some ability to prepare food. The owner, Diane, welcomed me for breakfast, a good one after bland hotel food.
The village has one narrow road lined with distinct homes - not quite cottages, not quite houses. The single pub is a lively meeting place. There are a number of green spaces, at either end of the village and in the middle. These help calm down the constant traffic on High Street.
