« We really enjoyed this house! It had plenty of room with a large great room that contained a living, dining and kitchen. There were enough window a/c's to cool things down on a couple of hot days and heat to ward off the chill towards the end of our rental (one month) The property is roomy and flat (except the driveway) with a large deck, ideal if you have a doggie! « The cabin was comfortable and welcoming. Very clean and functional. Beds were comfortables. We cooked all our meals,.the kitchen was well equipped. Bring water because the water is coming from a well ( hosts provided bottled water at arrival. We loved the view on the pound from the cabin. Easy access to a small beach where the kids could play in the sand. We went hiking about 20-30 minutes from the cabin. Well situated. Loved the decoration! On a rainy morning we tried to count all the bears!...

« House was beautiful and very clean. Great location to with a very short walk into town but with the quietness you want when staying in Lake Placid. Host is great and very communicative. Had great outdoors, hike recommendations as well as restaurants. I would definitely stay here again. »

« Great location in Lake Placid—walking distance to a few brew pubs and the Adirondack Rail Trail; a little further walk to downtown, but makes the location quieter from the main hustle and bustle. Unit was well-appointed with a good selection of dishes that allowed us to do a mixture of eating in and eating out. Easy access (with a car) to lots of regional highlights as well, including High Falls Gorge, Au Sable Chasm, Fort Ticonderoga, and lots of great hiking up any number of local peaks. ...

"Passage rapide d’une nuit avant de remonter vers le Canada. Très bel endroit charmant et propre. Le propriétaire Dusan est très gentil et accueillant et s’assure que notre séjour soit agréable. A savoir : depuis la chambre on entend assez ce qu’il se passe dans la maison. Ça ne nous a pas dérangé car les autres voyageurs étaient discrets. "

"Les plus : Les espaces communs étaient super et le personnel de l’hotel était vraiment gentil. L’endroit est tout simplement magnifique. Les moins : l’éclairage froid dans le restaurant (led), le manque d’éclairage dans la chambre et surtout le système de climatisation/chauffage dans la chambre qui laisse vraiment à désirer (très bruyant et nécessite qu’on l’ouvre et le ferme constamment car ne s’éteint pas tout seul - donc très problématique la nuit) "
