Hotel was clean, dinner in restaurant was excellent & very reasonable. Only downside was the beds were very soft. I know this is personal preference, but they were the softest I’ve ever come across in a hotel.

-Great service at the front desk -Free parking, but with a quite cramped lot -Furnishings in room quite serviceable but a bit dated (entrance to the parking is on the SIDE of the building; took us a bit to figure this out!) -Breakfast is a great value -Very good water pressure

Free use of big swimming pool across the road. Kitchen has kettle, microwave, cutlery, plates, big fridge. only issue its a good 10-15 mins walk to train station.

Incredible value quality hotel

Good hotel
Hotel staff were very nice (and spoke good english, which was helpful since I speak terrible german!), breakfast was good, hotel rooms were good sized and comfortable.

Good value hotel - half an hour from Dusseldorf
I was in Dusseldorf for a trade show. The hotel is half an hour from Dusseldorf main station by train. It was a great hotel for a couple days. A good value compared to the hotels in Dusseldorf. The hotel is clean but not quite a boutique hotel - style could use a bit of refreshment. But overall a nice hotel with large rooms and a good value for the money.

Basic hotel
We stayed here whilst attending a concert so just needed a base for the night. It is definitely 3 star only, it looks to have had a very superficial face lift but this couldn't disguise how old and tired the whole place was. The worst thing was the room, corridors etc smelt terrible of cigarette smoke even though it should have been a non smoking room.

Exactly what we wanted
The beds were very comfortable and the hotel clean. The staff was friendly and happy you help. The breakfast was much better then we expected for the price and the location was good for were we wanted to be- not too far from the town center, the theater and the central station. All in all exactly what we were looking for.

Hotel staff were very welcoming and spoke excellent English. Taxi's arrived very soon after they were booked. The room was a bit dated but the bed was comfortable enough and a had onsuit a nice bathroom and TV . Breakfast was good also good

Very comfortable stay
Very comfortable and clean. Staff very welcoming. Nice welcome gifts in the room. The room was fully equipped with cutlery and crockery and even a microwave, but no tea or coffee! It would have been nice to have some extra linen in the cupboards or a spare blanket. Free wifi was excellent.

Family of 4 travelling had a two bedroom very spacious. Traditional German decor but clean and comfortable. Front desk service pleasant and helpful but would not really rate the hot breakfast it was cold but the continental side was fine

Very comfortable and modern hotel
We stayed one night in a twin room in an annex block just down the road from the main hotel, an it was spacious and well-equipped. Beds were comfortable and reasonably far apart. It was cold when we went in but once the radiators were turned on it heated up very quickly. Wifi was fine Breakfast in newly modelled restaurant was generous, with a good range of hot and cold foods

The hotel was very short on character or style and had a type of nursing home element to it. Also a very lifeless style about the whole place.Saying this, the front desk staff were very helpful and polite. Beds were way to soft and the pillows needed more than a few feathers in them. But guess its a cultural thing in Germany to have extra soft pillows anyway as so many other hotels are the same in the region. Its close to the main hub of shops but a good walk from the main station. If you have no other choice in the area it will do fine.

One of the better hotels to stay at
We like it, its nice, friendly staff, room has everything you want. Except tea and coffee, you need to buy your own, but it has microwave and you can make hot water. Free internet is also great, but its SLOW! and on and of many times, thats sad, hole they will fix it.

Stayed for 2 nights.Room nice and clean. Much better than usual chain hotels. Town is not so good and eating out choices are limited (unless you want Pizza). Grreat public transport service, good for travel to Essen and avoids excessive rates when shows are on.

We stayed here on the way to Amsterdam - easy to find and a good deal for the price. The desk manager was friendly and had no issues at all.

Found it unusual that the hotel did not open its restaurant or bar on a Thursday night. They stated the hotel is quiet on Thursdays so we do not open them!! This did however force me to find a very good Italian restaurant about 250m walk away, would certainly recomend this even if the hotel restaurant was open!

Found the hotel by accident en route elsewhere
We liked the hotel a lot - great price and helpful staff. We liked it so much we made it part of the journey back on the way home. We liked the fact that it had a proper fridge as we had lots of food for baby we had in cool bags in the car. Great value, comfy beds and not too far from the autobhan (5 mins drive) meant we will be going back again next year.

Great Stay. Would not stay anywhere else!
This is hotel surpassed all expectations we had before our arrival. The hotel is within walking distance of the main market area, train station, and bus stops. The hotel is a short cab ride to the Centro as well. The reception desk was staffed with knowledgeable and friendly people. We had an additional person in our group so for an additional * euro we were given a bigger room. The room was huge for european standards with hard wood floors two full beds two large sofas, two lounge chairs, flat screen TV, standing shower, bath tub, and small kitchen unit. For the price, location, and quality I challenge anyone to find a better hotel in Oberhausen, Germany.

We were staying in an apartment next to the hotel. Since we were 2 adults and 2 children, we had 2 bedrooms apartment. Both bedrooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable. We were very happy with this accommodation and definitely recommend to stay in this hotel.
