Business trip made better by this fantastic hotel
On arrival we were each given a welcome drink and a bar of chocolate, a very nice touch and one that made our stay more memorable. The staff as always were fantastic and made us feel welcome throughout the stay.

outstanding!
Absolutely beautiful spacious room with 3 sitting areas and a very comfortable large bed plus a large bathroom all at a reasonable price. The entire place was absolutely spotless. In fact it sparkled. The hosts were extremely nice and the food in the restaurant was the best of traditional German cuisine. The restaurant and beer garden are full even on weeknights including locals. Always a good sign. I would absolutely stay here again.

Super nice people, real local ambiance. My room did not have any shutters or blinds, just curtains. Because of the street it was a bit light at night.

Fantastic family run hotel. Everyone was Incredibly friendly and very welcoming. On arrival I was given a welcome local alt beer which was a lovely touch. The accommodation is to a very high standard and so is the food. I can’t fault the place

Quaint pleasant charming
Not wanting to spend our last night in the city by the dusseldorff airport we chose this Hotel in Kettwig. Staff is amazingly kind and helpful. Amenities perfect.

Busy, and friendly.
One night only and booked at last minute. Busy place with busy restaurant and good friendly atmosphere. Large comfortable room if a bit dated. Nice touch with the welcome beer and bar of chocolate. The restaurant is a separate business to the hotel but that was only clear when it came to check out as I was presented with 2 bills. The Schwein Haxe I had was a bit disappointing, but I'm comparing it with the Haxenbauer in Munich... I wouldn't hesitate to stay again if I'm in the area.

Pleasant stay
A warm welcome on arrival and an upgrade to a junior suite! Clean, comfortable and spacious with balcony. Good pub food. Friendly staff and good service. Parking available at hotel in car park. Short walk into Kettwig - nice cafes and bars in old part.

Super-Hotel zum vernünftigen Preis
Ich war nun schon zum zweiten Mal dort und ich habe mich beide Male sehr wohl gefühlt! Ein tolles kleines Hotel, sehr nette Mitarbeiter und saubere und gemütliche Zimmer! Dazu ein richtig gutes Frühstück! Was will man mehr? Ich hatte Glück, dass ich jetzt mal in das Zimmer 11 durfte, mit Klimaanlage und richtig viel Platz! Besser geht es kaum!

Hier passt einfach alles. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Zimmer sind sehr schön und sauber. Frühstück schmeckt super und riesen Auswahl. Das Abendessen im Restaurant Abends war auch sehr lecker und preiswert. Wenn ich wieder in der Nähe bin werde ich auf jeden Fall wieder hier Übernachten

Zeer gastvrij ontvangst met een drankje en een plak chocolade, nette schone kamers en een goed uitgebreid ontbijt. Ligt in een mooi gebied en ook als je naar Essen zit je er goed. Ong 900 m van de SBahn en voor nog geen 6 e retour met lijn 6 in 16 min naar de stad. Toppertje om terug te komen en bij uitschecken nog een aardigheidje mee voor onderweg.

Man hat sich von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt. Oft sind es die kleinen Gesten die einem auf einer Geschäftsreise glücklich machen. Das passiert hier auf jeden Fall. Bei meiner nächsten Reise in der Region auf jeden Fall wieder hier übernachten. Hier versteht jemand bzw.das ganze Team sein Handwerk. Egal ob Hotel oder Restaurant. Alle Daumen hoch!

Une auberge accueillante non loin de Düsseldorf.
Une auberge traditionnelle, très propre et bien tenue par un personnel sympathique et attentif. Des chambres agréables et très bien insonorisées, avec salle de bains privative (seul bémol : l'absence temporaire de minibar dans celle que nous avons occupée). Un restaurant de style régional allemand, au rapport qualité-prix excellent, qui vous accueille dans une atmosphère chaleureuse. Un petit déjeuner-buffet gratuit et très varié, servi dans une très jolie salle. Une excellente alternative aux impersonnelles chaînes hôtelières qu'on trouve partout dans les villes. Si d'aventure nous retournons un jour dans la région, il y a fort à parier que nous descendrons à nouveau dans cet hôtel, qui présente l'avantage d'un parking gratuit : il nous suffira d'une demi-heure pour être au centre de Düsseldorf.

Super Hotel mit Heimfühlfaktor
Super nettes Personal, tolle saubere Zimmer mit Wohlfühlfaktor. Das Essen ist gut bürgerlich und lecker. Das mit viel Liebe zubereitete Frühstücksbuffet lässt definitiv keine Wünsche offen.

Auch nur für eine Nacht auf Fahrt Ruhrradweg ein Empfang (Chef persönich übermimmt das) mit Erfrischungsgetränk. Radfahrerservice wurde sofort angeboten. Ein Rad von unserer Vierergruppe hatte einen Plattfuß. Zimmer ganz individuell großräumig eingerichtet. Zwei Einzelzimmer davon waren DZ. Mein DZ hatte eine außergewöhnlich großes Bad mit Duschecke. Nach der ersten Erholung auf dem Zimmer war es sehr angenehm in der Gaststätte (Brauhaus) unser Abendessen einzunehmen womit wir sehr zufrieden waren. Am nächsten morgen erwartete uns ein sehr reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet. Außergwöhnlich viele Frucht- bis Fischsalate in kleinen Portionen vorbereitet. So konnten wir gestärkt unsere Radreise weiter führen in Erinnerung an einen schönen Aufenthalt. So geschehen Pfingsten 2015

Trivelig hotell med utmerket vertskap
Vi var på biltur fra Spania tilbake til Norge. Hotellet fant vi på internett, med gode anbefalinger fra andre. Alt sto til forventningene, og vel så det. Et utmerket sted med en meget god service og deilig mat. Et avslappende og godt opphold, og hotellet kan absolutt anbefales.

Il est rare de trouver un hôtel aussi impeccable que celui-ci. En plus de tous les services attendus, un accueil, une gentillesse, une serviabilité de toute l'équipe au rendez-vous.C'est une info à garder secrète normalement. Les bons endroits ça ne se partage pas :)
