"The little house was great for the price. Could be improved by air conditioning. It is very warm in bedrooms and as it was raining could not let in fresh air. One let down…the bedding was dreadful. Unclean cover on bed and mattress cover covered in other peoples hairs😕also found some in bathroom sink"

"Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.La maison était propre, la litterie aussi. Suffisamment grande pour 3 couples dont 1 avec 2 enfants. Personne ne se marche sur les pieds, pareil pour les douches avec 3 salles de bain et suffisamment d'eau chaude pour tout le monde.La maison était correctement équipée pour pouvoir cuisiner. Petit point négatif : difficulté à garer trois voitures mais le propriétaire nous a envoyé un document avec les parkings accessibles à pied. Nous étions donc informé....

"La propriété est très belle: deux maisons de caractère en pierres (celle de Cathy et le gîte). Le jardin est splendide, vert, bien entretenu, agrémenté de fleurs et d’arbres fruitiers. Il surplombe Saint-Lary avec vue sur le pla d’Adet. Le gîte est propre, bien équipé et des chambres il y a une jolie vue sur la montagne. C’est un endroit très calme et reposant. Cathy et son mari sont très gentils et ce fut un plaisir de les rencontrer. Si nous revenons dans le coin, nous ne manquerons pas...

"One of the worst travel experiences we've ever had - completely unprofessional and disrespectful. By looking at other people's reviews, it appears that we are not the only travelers to have our booking cancelled by Hotel Vacanceole without notice. Concerned by an email we received, we called our travel agent twice to confirm that our booking was still valid - and were reassured both times that the Hotel said the room was still available. After reaching the hotel, we arrived only to find out our room had been given away. No notice, no explanation, and no effort to make things right. There is no person attending the “reception desk” – this is not a hotel. To make matters worse, when we tried to call the company’s central reservations line, they said that they "don’t speak English” and hung up on us. Unacceptable behavior from any hospitality provider, let alone in the tourism industry. This experience was not only a major disruption to our trip, but also a glaring example of how not to treat guests. We strongly advise others to think twice before booking with this property or company. There are better options for real hotels directly across the street."
