The location is very convenient for access to the town of Mudgee, as well as the cellar doors, Braeside is in walking distance. The views from the verandah are spectacular and the sunsets are magic to watch from the spa. Abingdon House was the perfect house to come back to after venturing out for the day. It is a perfect place to just relax and take in the wonderful hillside views. Cam and Tasch were helpful throughout. They quickly responded to our questions prior to arrival and accommodated our requests. The property has been carefully thought through in terms of all the little details. A basket of blankets so we could enjoy the cooler evenings as an example. The property has a great kitchen for entertaining and we ate at Abindgon House for all meals whilst enjoying cheese and wine purchased from the local vineyards and suppliers. Staring at the blanket of stars in the night sky whilst chit chatting in the spa was a highlight. We’d love to return at some point and I whole heartedly recommend this property. It’s quiet, peaceful and Mudgee is always a delight for a long weekend getaway.
