Welcome to your 3 bed, 1.5 bath home away from home in Ephrata, Pennsylvania! Our newly renovated, single family home is on a quiet suburban street, with easy parking and keycode access. As a family of multiple children and furry friends, we have found that some places are easier to vacation than others. We hope our home will be comfortable for both you, your kids, and your dog on your upcoming visit. You'll walk through the front door into our living room and see our huge comfy sectional, and a 55” smart tv, with Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN+ already signed in and ready for you to use. In the dining room, there is plenty of seating for the whole family, and depending on your mood- coffee or drink bar. The large sliding glass doors in the dining area open right out onto our deck and pool area (Pool is currently covered and closed for maintenance). Right down from the fully outfitted kitchen is our half bath and our doggie lounge area, featuring dog couches, crates and beds of all sizes. Past that is the GE front loading washer and dryer and the back door to enter into our large fully fenced in backyard! Depending on the weather, it can be hard to keep to keep our dogs clean and mud-free, so half of the lawn is a dedicated pup potty spot outfitted with artificial turf and gated off from the grill and lounge area. On our second floor (6 steps up) you will find all 3 bedrooms- All three are outfitted with gorgeous queen size beds, two with luxury plush mattresses and one with a firm, to offer you a choice. All three rooms feature beautiful, locally crafted furniture. Located within a few hours of New York City, Philadelphia, Washington DC and Baltimore, our quaint little town of Ephrata sits outside of the City of Lancaster, in the heart of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Lancaster County is of course known for the Amish community and their unique and rustic culture, surrounded by picturesque rolling hills and fields, and quaint country stores. Known for its excellent fine dining, historic architecture, and fine arts, Lancaster City boasts numerous theaters, galleries, bars, and cafes. In the center of the city of Lancaster resides America’s oldest continuously operating farmers market. Central Market bounds with locally sourced fruits and vegetables, baked goods, freshly cut flowers, and so much more! Even closer to our little town of Ephrata is the picturesque town of Lititz with its world renowned Wilbur Chocolate Factory and incredible dining, unique festivals and tree lined storefronts. Of course we also have the scoop on Ephrata’s best small town attractions- within 5- 10 minutes you will find cafe’s, pizza shops, authentic Mexican and Dominican eateries, craft breweries, wine tasting, and farm fresh fruit and vegetables from our local amish farm stands. And can’t forget- Green Dragon farmer’s market on Fridays. Some well known attractions in our general area are Hershey Park and Resorts, Sight & Sound Theater, Dutch Wonderland theme park, The Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire, Spooky Nook Sports complex, and Tanger Outlets for some excellent shopping. For the outdoorsy and nature lovers, popular attractions are the Rail Trail- popular for walkers, runners and bicyclists year-round, the trails at Nolde Forest, watching the snow geese flock by the thousands to the Middle Creek Wildlife Preserve, the Wolf Sanctuary of PA, and of course Longwood Gardens. We are also closely located to Adamstown, PA known as the antique capital of the US - numerous antique malls and shops, with enough variety and intrigue to keep you shopping for days! So much to do and see in our area. We can’t wait for you to enjoy your stay! Search Cooper Family Homes on YouTube for a video walk through of our home! There is a $50.00 per booking pet fee. If dogs are brought but are not on the reservation this will be added. If you bring your dogs and plan to leave them at the property unattended, they must be crated so as to avoid damage to the property. We understand that dogs are family. However, we request that if your puppy is muddy, dirty or prone to scratching that you keep it off the furniture so that we can provide an exceptional experience for all of our guests. Accidents happen, we get it. But please inform us so proper cleaning can be done! Please enjoy your stay and relax! Absolutely no smoking is allowed on the property so we can continue to provide an exceptional experience for all of our guests. This includes the backyard. Any smoking will incur a $500 deep clean fee. No professional photography. No parties. If you plan to have visitors you must inform us. The property is limited to 8 guest at any one time. No visitors are allowed to stay over night without being added to the reservation. When you are ready to leave, simply shut off the lights and lock the door! Absolutely no cleaning is required! We believe that vacations should be just that! Was a great house to stay while we visited some family and went around the Lancaster area. Great place for us and our dogs to stay. They loved the turf doggie area. We had a small issue but Doron was there within the hour and super helpful. Even followed up the next day! Couldn’t have asked for better hosts. Our dogs loved to lay by the back door in the sun. This house is perfect if you want to bring your dogs, they have given as much thought to making your pet comfortable as well as you. No need to pack dog crates, food bowls, or beds they have everything there. A fenced in yard with turf grass. We had some issues with the keyless lock,but it could have been operator error, however, as soon as we messaged we received a response immediately. When it was time to leave you just packed up and left no need to do any cleaning they take care of everything. This is probably one of the best places we’ve ever stayed at. ##### Robin C. Sight & Sound Theater did not disappoint and Lancaster Market and downtown areas were fun. Best of all was enjoying the Cooper home with our family and fur babies! They were able to stay together in one of the huge crates provided and the fenced-in yard with turf was great! Beds, furnishings and appliances were so much like home and Doron responded to a couple of texts I sent very quickly. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home in this beautifully renovated space. The living room, with its huge sectional and smart TV, was perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the area. The dog-friendly amenities were a huge plus for us, with a dedicated lounge area and a fenced backyard. The bedrooms were comfortable and well-appointed, ensuring everyone had a restful night’s sleep. There were SO many options of blankets and pillows. Communication with the hosts was seamless, and they provided all the information we needed for an stress-free stay. So many little touches they included made our vacation feel special. We highly recommend The Cooper Home for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with family and pets. We can't wait to come back! ##### Douglas H. The accommodation was immaculate clean and organized. It was well stocked and this home provides a cozy feel. The dog area was well executed with everything a pup needs to feel welcome even the enclosed outdoor was perfect for the pups they love it. The kitchen well stocked. Its eco friendly items they offer as toiletries show how much they care for you to feel at home and enjoy your vacation. I beg anyone to try to provide a better home to stay in. We rent a lot and this is the best. I don’t have the adjectives… Welcoming, spotless, every need anticipated, tasteful, comfortable , etc etc. AND the fact they provide the perfect accommodation for our little dog is the cherry on top.
