The greatest amenity is the location, very honestly the best in Door County. The second is the view. Being on the second floor means you have spectacular unobstructed views of the harbor for miles. Imagine sitting around the Great Room/Kitchen’s gathering spot, a 10 foot kitchen counter island with your friends or family sipping coffee after breakfast in a conversation about memories or planning your Door County day all while looking at your magical view of Ephraim’s harbor from the oversized windows in this second floor home. A perfect spot for lazy breakfasts, easy going days and nights full of conversation and family time overlooking the sparkling water. Once you have had some fun getting-together at the kitchen island you walk a few steps to the Great Room with vaulted ceilings, the fireplace, a flat screen TV, and plenty of seating for your family to relax and enjoy the lovely harbor beyond. When you are not looking at the view you can look at the gas fireplace centered on the spectacular shiplap wall. Overall a very unique, light and bright layout. You can see the private dock suitable for up to a 21 foot boat from your second floor home. Swimming, pontoon boats, paddle boating, para sailing, kayaking, sailing cruises, and jet skis are all just steps from the dock to rent. The residence has two bedrooms and a study alcove. One of the bedrooms has an envious view of the water from the queen bed and private bathroom with a tiled shower. The second bedroom views the wooded bluffs with a king bed and a large private bathroom and tiled shower. The study alcove has a desk and two folding beds that can be used comfortably in the alcove or easily elsewhere in the home. Next to the study is a convenient half bath. And yes the entire residence is new top to bottom… just completed. The owner decorated the home with tremendous attention to detail. Everything is hand picked and reflects the happy and fun Door County lifestyle. The home offers everything you might possibly need. A kitchen well equipped to whip up favorite family recipes. You’ll find all dishes, glassware, dishwasher dish soap etc., bath towels, toilet paper, hairdryer in each bathroom and more including your own washer and dryer. All linens and clean towels are provided. There is central A/C and of course, the best high speed wireless internet with cable TV. Expect an exceptionally clean house. Many hours are spent cleaning before you arrive to make it just right because that is most important to ensure your comfortable stay. There is so much to do I. Door county and wonderful restaurants. Although we ate out most of the time - the kitchen is fabulous for entertaining . The owners communicated everything very well . Clean and very nice house. We very much enjoyed staying while in the house. Location great and near docks and restaurants. Front porch not available to upstairs unit (not disclosed). Not good outdoor options to sit and visit outdoor on the property. Property owners live on site. (Not disclosed) Some might be ok with this but was kind of odd. We could easily live here it was so lovely, inside and out! The location is ideal with beautiful lake views and easy access to other towns and destinations. The home is spacious, bright and beautifully decorated and appointed—and most importantly, it was extremely clean and very well cared for—we really appreciated the cleanliness, and the attention to every detail and amenity throughout the home. It’s even more beautiful than the online photos depict. Pride of ownership is apparent, and we appreciate and respect the work the owner has put into creating such a comfortable and welcoming property.
