Chatham Hills is pet and child/infant friendly. It consists of two distinct buildings: a large home with socializing areas and a newly renovated bunk house for sleeping. In total, there are 11 bedrooms plus a loft that can be used as an additional bedroom with a futon and 13 bathrooms, ensuring maximum space and comfort. The Main House features four spacious bedrooms, a fully renovated kitchen/dining area with a beautiful Amish-made farmhouse table, and a living room with a large sectional couch, TV with ROKU, where you can login to your streaming services, and fireplace. There's also a lounge area perfect for relaxation, equipped with a futon for additional sleeping space. The lower level has been converted into a game room with a bumper pool table, arcade machine, and an additional kitchen for serving appetizers and snacks. The Bunk House offers complete privacy and comfort for guests seeking a peaceful sleep. It features eight suites, four with two full-size beds each and four with one king bed. Each suite has its own private entrance, bathroom, and kitchenette with a mini fridge and microwave. The Bunk House is separate from the main house, allowing guests to enjoy the game room, lounge, and socializing areas while others retreat for sleep. In addition to the indoor spaces, Chatham Hills provides plenty of outdoor gathering areas. Enjoy private decks, porches, balconies, and a spacious backyard with a fire pit. The backyard leads up to the Door County Land Trust, a magnificent nature preserve, perfect for activities like hiking, dog walking, snow-shoeing, and cross-country skiing. The adventure shed was ideal for anyone who want to go for a bike ride and the nature trail right off the back of the property was an extra bonus. One downside would be that the beds in the main house were uncomfortable. The bunk house was exceptional. Felt like a hotel stay in each of the rooms. So nice to have enough rooms that all the couples could have their own space. We loved the hot tub, and spent many hours in conversation gathered around the fire ring. The house and individual hotel-style rooms provided a good mix of gathering space with private downtime. The adventure shed and outdoor space provide lots of variety. Quick walk or bike ride to Anderson Dock and Wilson's Ice cream. Access to Land Trust trails provide nice light hike. Overall a great property with something for everyone. Some small cautions -- the road is very busy and there was no deadbolt on the doors. Watch small children very carefully if they are prone to open doors and try to sneak out. While the property has been remodeled and was clean, it is as older building and has its quirks. ##### Becky S. Everyone had a bedroom and bathroom, which every member of my family LOVED. The basement is a basement it is musty nothing that turning on the heat or air would not take care of the rooms are small with a number of games to play. The huge dining room with a table to accommodate many people was great for us whether we were eating, playing games, carving pumpkins, or visiting. A nice kitchen filled with everything we needed. The coffee bar was fully stocked. Beautiful trail behind the house. We didn't use any thing in the adventure shed because we had so many activities planned prior. Been renting for decades in Door County, love rustic charm, and don’t expect opulence, but this was disgusting. Rusty hole in the floor where a toilet should be, missing ceiling tiles, black mold in showers, leaking ceiling. Dirty, stained sheets & towels. Fridge with dirt and blood in it. Cracked foundation & paths and outdoor electric lights don’t work, making it very tricky to walk to your room after dark without a flashlight. Grill was filthy. Most bikes & sports equipment broken. Dead grass, dead flowers from last fall still in planters the following August. The description of an adult lounge paints the picture of a relaxing evening of games and cocktails, but it is a dark, dusty, small room. The basement “game rooms” are just creepy, tiny, musty basement rooms. The bumper pool table is in such a tight room you can’t navigate a pool stick. However, with the high price (we paid over 12k for one week) and the description of Chatham Hills, we were expecting a welcoming, clean property ideal for families. Total misrepresentation. Ideal for frat parties, not families. The first night we served a salad on a cookie sheet as there are no large bowls or platters, and mixed drinks in a coffee pot. After that, we decided to eat all remaining meals out. Emily from Little Adventure was responsive and apologetic at first, offered to waive the cleaning fee and give a gift certificate to dinner (not close to enough to compensate for this experience) but failed to deliver either, we were charged in full, and she has not responded to emails in over a week. ##### Suzy R. Every bedroom comes with a full bathroom which makes this place great especially when staying for 3 nights and 30 people! The game room is perfect for kids and adults.
