Typical 16th Century farm for 6 people, 3 rooms

Our gîte is in a 16th-century farm outhouse. In restoring this corn loft, we have taken special care to respect the features of the Alsatian house, e.g. by preserving the beauty of the original building, choosing appropriate colours, applying a limewash finish and using traditional and quality materials.

We have put heart and soul into maintaining the character of the place. And to this authentic touch we have endeavoured to add a high level of comfort.

We have the advantage of being ideally situated in the peaceful village of Epfig, 35 km from Colmar and Strasbourg, in the heart of the Alsatian vineyards and at the foot of the Vosges mountains.

Should you be interested, we shall gladly reveal to you some of the secrets of our Alsace region. We look forward to welcoming you here soon.

Nous recommandons.

Gîte très agréable, propre et bien situé pour les visites entre Colmar et Strasbourg. Excellent accueil. A noter toutefois la présence d'un escalier un peu raide pour accéder au logement en cas de personnes limitée physiquement.

Idéal même pour un court séjour

Nous avons séjourné 3 nuits dans ce gîte. Tout y est. confort, équipement, bon goût, accueil, très adapté pour notre famille de 6. Même le soleil était là pour découvrir la région !

Wir haben die Zeit in der Wohnung sehr genossen, alles sehr sauber, Küche großzügig bestückt, Bäder modern und die Betten gut. Ein Bett ist 1,40m breit und hat nur eine Bettdecke, das mag nicht jeder, aber da ließe sich mit den Vermietern sicher reden, dass man 2 bekäme, die sind sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich...

Perfekter Urlaub im urigen und gemütlichen Domizil

Die Ausstattung der Ferienwohnung mit drei Schlafzimmern, 2 Bädern und zwei Toiletten war für uns drei befreundete Ehepaare perfekt. Uns hat die urige Ausstattung und der stilgerechte Ausbau des Hauses sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage in Epfig ist ideal für Ausflüge in die gesamte Region. Restaurants im Ort sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Vielen Dank an Familie Klein auch für die guten Ausflug-Tips.

Zentrale Lage im Elsass, liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung

Wir waren die ersten beiden Wochen im August 2018 zu Gast und reisten zu viert an. Wir bewohnten die Wohnung (Les Petits Tisserands) mit den drei Schlafzimmern. Es waren sehr heiße Tage im Freien, wie auch in der Ferienwohnung. Wir wurden vor Ort gut betreut, es fehlte an nichts in der Wohnung. Im Garten / Hof gab es sehr einladende Rückzugsmöglichkeiten zum Lesen und Entspannen. Der Ort Epfig ist im Elsass zentral gelegen, wodurch Ausflüge in alle Richtungen möglich waren. Einzig die Nähe der Kirche, mit dem Läuten der Glocke war gewöhnungsbedürftig. Zu unserer Reisezeit war die Durchgangstraße im Ort leider gesperrt, wobei die Umleitung an dem Ferienobjekt vorbei führte. Dieser Umstand sollte aber zwichenzeitlich kein Grund für Lärmbelastungen mehr sein. Zum Baden sind wir wir nach Benfeld, ca. 16 km entfernt zur dortigen Kiesgrube gefahren, was nach Wanderungen und Städtetouren sehr willkommen war. Insgesamt war es ein sehr schöner Urlaub und wir können das Objekt wirklich nur weiterempfehlen.

séjour très agréable au milieu des vignes; gîte authentique et très joliment restauré. les propriétaires et leurs amis sont très chaleureux et pleins de bons conseils pour découvrir la région. le gîte est très bien localisé entre strasbourg, colmar et l'allemagne. Nous avons adoré les villages de la route des vins surtout Eguishem. je vous recommande vivement cette location.

Wunderschöne Unterkunft

Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt im Elsass. Die Wohnung lässt nichts zu wünschen übrig und ist mit sehr viel Liebe eingerichtet. Die Vermieter sind außerordentlich herzlich, hilfsbereit und sympathisch. Uns hat ein leckerer Käsekuchen als Willkommensgruß erwartet. Das Dorf ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge aller Art. Egal ob Städtetour nach Colmar/Straßburg oder Wanderungen.

Charme et féerie de l'Alsace authentique

Gîte superbement équipé aménagé avec goût au calme très agréable pour se resourcer et se retrouver en famille ou avec des amis Entoure de vignobles à pertes de vue pour les amateurs de belles ballades...magnifique!!! Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine aux petits tisserands. Tout a contribué à cette impression : la qualité de l´accueil et des conseils, l´abondante documentation pour choisir et préparer les visites, le confort et la fonctionnalité des équipements... Et puis tout est tellement joli, la décoration du gîte, très soignée, la cour (les fumeurs l´ont particulièrement appréciée!) le jardin et la maison des hôtes, d´un bleu irréel… C´est une adresse que nous recommandons chaudement!

Superbe gîte très confortable, spacieux, bien équipé et décoré avec beaucoup de goût, nous y avons passé une semaine très agréable. Facile d’accès dans une région magnifique à découvrir en famille ou entre amis. Un week-end de charme !

Malgré la nature encore ingrate et un ciel incertain, une équipe d'une dizaine d'amis marcheurs, dont je donne ici l'impression générale, a séjourné dans ce gîte en ouverture de saison : tous ont apprécié, au coeur d'un village alsacien typique et de vignobles à l'infini (à quelques kms d'abbayes et d'églises aussi variées qu'intéressantes, de bonnes tables et bonnes caves), le cadre spacieux de cette ferme alsacienne au coloris réjouissant, rénovée avec un soin extrême, un goût très sûr, sans fausse élégance : le cadre rustique séduit par la belle sobriété de l'aménagement et des couleurs, par son confort moderne et son silence - les insomniaques y ont retrouvé le sommeil ! - ainsi qu'une foule de détails originaux et bien pensés; le "plus" fut l'accueil chaleureux de nos hôtes, un jeune couple dynamique, intelligent et souriant, capable de vous conseiller utilement sur les balades et visites à faire, comme de vous confectionner d'excellentes flammenküche, Kouglofs et confitures... Quelque soit la saison, il semble que, grâce à eux, et à la belle aventure que représente ce gîte, on puisse venir ici durablement trouver repos, détente et sérénité ...

Allez-y sans crainte !

Un séjour qui restera gravé dans nos mémoires. Tout y était bien, beau et réussi. Le gîte est non seulement beau mais très confortable. Il a été restauré avec beaucoup de goût et de passion jusque dans les moindres détails. La situation est parfaite pour découvrir l'Alsace que l'on soit plutôt citadin ou campagnard (ou les deux).L'accueil des Tisserands, grands ou petits, a été si chaleureux que nous ne voulions pas nous en aller et que voulons y retourner !
