If you are expecting American standards you will be disappointed but if you know Uganda and have been before you will be pleased. This was my second visit. The hotel grounds are beautiful, air conditioners work. We will stay there again.

The location was good, however the hotel was not really a comfortable stay. There was a lot of noise that carried from room-to-room at night and the bathroom had mold on the ceilings. The breakfast was decent, however it seems like the only thing you are paying for is the location, which is right on Lake Victoria and near Victoria Mall / Imperial Mall. Additionally, the shuttle to the airport is helpful. I don't believe I will stay here again, as the price exceeds the quality of the hotel and sleep.

The Anderita Beach Hotel offers an excellent value. It's a short distance from the airport, its own restaurant plus proximity to several others, walking distance from the Victoria Mall, and is just across the road from the lake. The staff are cordial and efficient, and rooms are spotlessly clean.

This place is totally beat. It's run down with dirty rooms and uncomfortable beds and AC that doesn't work. Staff was nice, but didn't seem to know what they're doing. They didn't have my reservation so I had to show them a printed copy of my booking receipt. Breakfast food was terrible. You can do so much better for what they charge.

I have been staying at this property over 10 years. Each time I come into Entebbe it's the 'go to' place to catch up with my time zone, have a walk by the beach & close to Victoria Mall for needed money exchange and purchasing supplies you can't get at the remote towns I visit. Don't expect AC to work in every room, that's what happened 2-days ago...requested room with AC but they could not find the remote. Towels...well generally you have to ask for them. The staff are all very willing and happy to meet your needs...BUT you have to ask. Do not assume anything. You are in a 3rd world country which does not operate like others. I will return to Anderita because I have a longstanding loyal to this property...and I love watching the monkeys travel through at sunset.

I stayed here both before and after my Uganda Gorilla safari. I loved the location with Lake Victoria across the dirt road - view from my second floor balcony was gorgeous. The staff always was helpful and very pleasant - they always sent someone to fix things when something did not work which was frequent as property is older. If you can manage with very basic amenities and just want an inexpensive hotel with friendly staff and a postcard view, do stay at Anderita Beach!

Make certain you get a room on the upper level with a view of Lake Victoria - view is like a postcard with a wonderful balcony. Very friendly helpful staff. Walk across the dirt road to have dinner or drinks on the edge of the lake - the hotel has its outdoor restaurant there. There is also a pizza place next to the hotel dining.

This property has a unique staff members that make you feel home and comfortable. If you need anything that you don't see, just ask, and many suggestions will be given to you. They have a mall and many supermarkets around this property

Reasonable hotel located in the tourist area in Entebbe on the shores of Lake Victoria. Not all rooms with same quality. First room i had was poor. The following night got a much better room (same cost). Breakfast poor. Service good.

Good value, budget hotel giving a pleasant stay.
Every one was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a good African meal. The room was spacious, clean and perhaps with more furniture than necessary. There were insufficient electrical plugs for modenn day life. The big bath in the bathroom looked inviting but there was no hot water. The veranda was my favorite place to sit as the views in both directions were amazing. We are a cross- cultural couple and we both enjoyed the atmosphere. I just wish they had a lift so that i could have avoided the stairs !

Beds need a upgrade.
The check-in process was smooth, and the room was adequate, but it lacked a comfortable mattress and blankets. The lakeshore beach, on the other hand, was excellent. Breakfast was satisfactory. They didn't allow me to get free shuttle service because they said I was only booked for one night. That was not cool. I'm a client regardless of how long I stay.

Manager was very helpful with CoVid testing requirements. Staff was very helpful and efficient. Dinner was very slow and not a lot available. We should have gone out to a restaurant.

Staff was very friendly. The location is lovely, it is a nice hotel. However, they didn’t seem empowered to have customer first. Need to be more creative to work around complications. Also Others: No shower curtain. Bathroom door would not latch. Phone stops working at night. Key to door was difficult to use. But it did have nice extras: A/C, fridge, nice patio with monkeys playing outside every evening, bed net, etc

The hotel is opposite the road of Lake Victoria.The staff are always very friendly.and helpful.The breakfast are good.The hotel are very centrally located and are within walking distance from Victoria Mall.The room are very spacious and clean and the view of Lake Victoria from my room was great.

OK STAY
It's a good place to stay if you're either arriving or departing from Entebbe. The best about it is the location across the street from Lake Victoria. Reception staff were friendly.

Unbeatable location on shore of Lake Victoria
The hotel is somewhat dated but cosy and well managed by a dedicated team. Anderita's location is unbeatable - right on the shore of Lake Victoria. The hotel has its own beach with a small bar and restaurant. You can't go wrong with Anderita when you visit Entebbe!

If you can take the bad with the good -
Overall the place is okay ...... I had prepaid for Deluxe room but when I arrived at Midnight they said my reservation was for one of the smallest, cheapest most neglected room. I pulled out my copy of reservation and showed them the confirmation. They were overbooked and somebody reserved me the wrong room. After the staff assured me I would get a Deluxe room the next day I stayed in the small uncomfortable room for the night and addressed situation again with Management in the morning. I wanted a refund of the money I paid for the Deluxe room but he said he had not received my payment from Hotels.com. I also gave him the option of extending my stay with a second night in the Deluxe room I had already paid for but he refused saying that if he did that the owner would think he pocketed the money ........... So I enjoyed the Deluxe room with King bed, lake view and fridge for my second night. It is too bad I was not given my reserved and paid for room the first night as it would have made the experience much more enjoyable. I needed the comfort the first night after travelling over a day in flight from the USA. So, in summary I guess even if you reserve and pay for in advance then you will get what they give you and your reservation is not guaranteed at all !!! The person that appeared to be the front desk supervisor at night was not very friendly and I am not sure why ....... but the staff was very pleasant and friendly

Last minute family stay
We booked last minute and had a wonderful stay in the deluxe double room with a king size bed. The bed was made nicely with good sheets. Bed was firm and comfortable. We used their van service to get to the airport which was on time and professional.
