The Bajamar Resort is one of the most ambitious planned communities in northwestern Mexico. Located just north of Ensenada and an easy 45-minute drive south of San Diego, California, this beautiful, ocean-oriented resort is an unparalleled, Baja, vacation destination. Situated atop a bluff on three miles of unspoiled Baja California coastline, the development comprises about 1750 acres of unspoiled terrain, where clear skies, starry nights, and beautiful ocean vistas delight residents and visitors alike. The Bajamar golf course has often been referred to as the "Pebble Beach" of Mexico. It has an 18-hole golf course with outstanding views to the ocean. One section stretches along the bluff and Bajamar housing community and one nine-hole course is built on the tide pools directly below the bluffs along the ocean coastline. The Bajamar Golf Resort is a gated community with 24/7 security. No other vacation resort in northern Baja can compare. The resort is surrounded and filled with native cactus, grasses, and plants. A hotel, restaurant, and bar complement the local amenities. The house has panoramic views from nearly every room. Two large balconies complement the many windows; one faces the ocean and one faces towards the mountains. High vaulted ceilings for the entire second floor provide a sense of wide open space and light. There are approximately 2400 square feet of living space. The three bedrooms (with a total of four beds) are spacious and tastefully decorated and equipped. The large kitchen is equipped with modern/new appliances and all necessary cooking utensils and dishes for a large party. The living room features a large open open area with partial views of the golf course and ocean. A 45 inch flat panel smart LED TV . The house is located only about a block away from the pool and within walking distance to the Bajamar Hotel, restaurant, and bar. Bajamar is not only appealing for its seclusion, tranquility, and security but also for its strategic location to many tourist areas in Northern Baja California. If you simply want to get away from the hectic everyday pace and just relax in a peaceful setting, this is the place for you. You can play golf, enjoy the swimming pools, take walks (several miles of walking trails along the shore-line and the Bajamar resort), take a bicycle ride, read a book, or simply just relax and enjoy the ocean views! However, if you want rest but also want to enjoy the Mexican culture and visit the most imporatant places in the area, this is an ideal location for "base camp". We stayed for 19 days and really enjoyed the layout, spaciousness and most of all the awesome sunset views ever evening. Parts of the home are a little dated, but since the price was well under the competition, it was a great value and we really enjoyed our stay!!! May 8, 2018 #### Wonderful Vacation Spot This was a great home and I would love to go back. We went down for a birthday celebration and to go wine tasting in Valle de Guadalupe. The home is very comfortable and close to the pool. The men loved golfing in the morning and when we headed out to the valley, it only took us maybe 20 minutes. Diego was very helpful and responsive with all questions I had before our trip. He sent detailed directions and check out instructions, so there was no need to contact anyone while we were there. Close to some of the nicest bars and eateries. Not that far from center of town, in my opinion. However electricity went out for 19 hours!! Half of which were at night. I’m a CPAP user and need electricity for breathing machine. So quite frankly I did not sleep for an entire night. When I contacted manager he said it would only be a few hours it’s normal and to get some rest. Well how was I supposed to do that with no electricity?! In the morning, I communicated to him electricity was still out. And he said best thing was to plan an outing and by the time I returned everything would be okay. We did just that and spent the day at Las Canadas campgrounds. However, when we returned at 7pm power was still out! No sooner than 7:05pm when we were just settling back in did the power come back on. But by then the food had gone bad and we had to go back out to buy more! When I explained ALL this to property manager he blamed power company and we agreed to a refund. At least it covered the food I had bought for us. So I thought! For me it’s about the principle not the money. If you say you’re going to do something, stick to your word! Have yet to hear back or receive refund we agreed to as I write this. ##### Jorge A.
