"Sadly, this one time lovely destination spot has become a deep disappointment. The rooms were not clean and there were no amenities to speak of: no coffee maker in room, no microwave in room, no sundries available for purchase. The website, brochures, and billboards all advertise continental breakfast, in room amenities, and items for purchase but these were available under the previous owners and are no more. The walking trail was lined with piles of dumped trash, making a once beautiful location a disappointment to say the least. Plan to stay at one of the hotels one either end of this long stretch of highway but avoid English River."
