Boaters Paradise W Dock Access - .4 Mile to Beach

Secluded getaway with the Gulf of Mexico to your immediate front and the open waters of Lemon Bay to your rear. Camouflaged by nature and on a private lane. Grab a towel, sunscreen and stroll to Manasota Key Beach less then .5 mile away. Perfect for those who enjoy shelling and shark tooth hunting. For the anglers, you have access to a private dock (sorry boatlift not for tenant use) right on the waters of Lemon Bay. Bring your boat along or rent one for your stay.

The home has a lockbox for entry. The lockbox code will be sent via text on the morning of the reservation. The Welcome Guide in the home will include the information about the home, wifi, trash day, etc. in addition to information about the local area. A contact number is in the book to reach me when needed.

Englewood is a quaint community that is known for Mom and Pop shops as opposed to franchise and big box stores. Manasota Key has several unique dining experiences with live music and entertainment nightly. Manasota Key Road extends the length of the 11 mile island. Hugged by an oak canopy, it makes for a great sight seeing trip whether by bike or car. The road is narrow so proceed cautiously and be mindful of bicyclists and pedestrians. This home is .4 of a mile from the beach and as well a public boat launch.

You have access to the full property aside from inside the first floor. That space is closed off with no one in it. If you are looking for privacy and seclusion, this is the home for you.

The lush landscaping surrounding the property provides for a secluded and private get away for anglers, boaters or those wishing to submerge their toes in the sand and soak up the sunshine. Stilt home with lower and upstairs accommodations that are exclusively yours to use. This home will take you back to Old Florida. The upstairs offers an open kitchen, living and dining room. Everything you need is here, so pack lightly. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms just beyond. Bedroom 1 offers a full size bed with ensuite bathroom and bedroom 2 with two twin beds that have an adapter to make into a king if needed. Bring home today's catch and fire up the propane grill. Spacious upper deck with seating and a BBQ.

The downstairs has an open seating area outside and inside screened lanai. Just a matter of preference. Full size washer and dryer on lower level. Private circular drive with room for the RV or boat if you opt not to keep it in the water. Follow the beaten bath to the dock . Bring your boat up to 20ft can fit at the private dock. Boatlift is not to be used by guests, sorry. Watch mother nature put on a show. Those surface bubbles are likely a manatee floating by.

A car is recommended . You can also rent bicycles, which is a great means to explore the immediate area. Uber serves well when going out for the night. There is also a shuttle service on the Key that works exclusively for tips.

The space you will be staying in is the upstairs part of the house. The inside of the first level of the home is closed off. There is nobody staying in the bottom so rest assured you will have your privacy. First bedroom has a double bed, the second bedroom has 2 single beds that have an adapter that can keep them together to make a king. Then the couch in the living room can be laid out as a futon and can sleep 1 person.

Effective for reservations booked after June 17, 2021:

$50 of the cleaning fee is subject to refund if the following list is completed in its entirety and the agreement is signed and dated by the party who initially reserved the home. Please review the following list in advance.

TO DO:

1. One (1 )set of sheets can be left per bed to launder-all additional sets must be washed, dried, folded, and returned to the appropriate bedroom closet. If any of the sheets you have washed come out stained, please place them in a pile on the kitchen table for our cleaners.

2. One (1) towel can be left per guest to be laundered. All other towels must be washed, dried, folded, and returned to the linen closet. If any of the towels that you washed come out stained, we ask that those towels are placed in a pile on the kitchen table for our cleaners.

3. Please leave any beds used beds unmade. Please place all used sheets, linens, and towels by the washer and dryer.

4. All dishes should be run through the dishwasher the night before departure and dishes returned to the appropriate kitchen cabinet. Any pans that did not come clean should be washed by hand, dried, and returned to the appropriate cabinet. Any dishes produced from breakfast may be placed into the dishwasher and dishwasher started prior to your departure. Please do not place any soiled dishes or utensils back in the cabinets.

5. Refrigerators, freezers, and kitchen cabinet food contents should be properly disposed of before your departure.

6. All trash in the home should be bagged and then placed into the curbside can.

7. Please do not place the outside trash receptacles on the curb unless the staff of Realty by Dale Thomas has reached out and requested so.

8. Please return any moved items to where you had found them upon arrival. The home should be left in a neat and orderly condition. If any furniture has been moved please return it to its original location.

9. Those in pet friendly homes that have brought along their pets must vacuum the floor and the furniture as close to departure as possible to eliminate pet hair.

10. Make sure all fans and lights are turned off. Please turn off all televisions and radios.

11. Please make certain both the oven and stovetop are turned off . Please unplug the small appliances on the kitchen counter.

10. Please make sure all windows and doors are locked.

11. Please lock the front door and return the keys to the lockbox (as applicable) if you have removed them. Please make sure the garage door is completely closed.

10. Place the garage remote and the spare key (if applicable) on the kitchen counter.

*Charges will incur as a result of lost or missing keys and/or remotes.

** We thank you in advance for your assistance. If all of the tasks are completed, the agreed-upon cleaning fee return will be initiated within 7 days.

peaceful family retreat

We stayed at the property for 2 weeks. The check-in was easy, the host was answering question with no delays. The property is well equipped with dishes and utensils. The top of the house has 2 rooms with 2 twin beds and another with a king. The first floor has a full bed. Everything as described pretty much. The walk to the beach is about 10-15 min. if you drive, the parking lot next to the beach always had space for parking. The property is very private and peaceful. The dock at the back is great for fishing. We used it for paddle board.

Older And Very Clean

Older home and what you expect for price in this location- Extremely clean though! Note downstairs separate from upstairs and worked for us. Great location is 1/3 mile to closest beach access so walkable but we drove. Beach towels provided and beach toys, buckets, chairs for beach arent sand chairs but work, no beach umbrella but can easily buy one if needed. Tons of fishing gear with cooler, buckets, net and rod. Shark teeth wash up on the beach at tideline! No red tide during our stay.

Englewood Treehouse

Eclectic older property; two stories w/unique layout. Unit had everything for cooking , and dishes, silverware, etc. Cindy was very helpful when we needed a blower for leaves, and a new mattress for downstairs unit. Enjoyed the dock.

Total relaxation!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our mom’s getaway weekend:) The communication with Cindy was great! We had all the amenities we needed and the neighborhood was quiet and safe. For anyone who wants to stay put and go to the beach, it’s perfect!! We wanted to explore several areas close by and had some challenges with transportation; would recommend renting a car if people want to venture out. Overall, loved the setting, collecting shells and enjoying the beach!! Highly recommend!

Eclectic hideaway

Cozy, 2-story octagonal home that connects through the exterior, making for two separate apartments. Located close to the beaches of Manasota Key, with a newly revamped dock on the bay, that you can sit on... Great for short stays for beach people/families. Awesome deck to relax on, and height/proximity of trees surrounding had us imagining we were in a really nice treehouse. We very much enjoyed our stay.
