The house had a lot of wear and tear to it, the kitchen door knob kept falling off, the dryer didn't work, dining room table was broken, missing and broken blinds, and there was a hole in the wall. This beach is so quiet, peaceful, and beautiful. You don't hear anything other than the lapping of the waves. We walked the beach in the mornings and some mornings there was not a sole on the beach. There is a reef that runs right along the shoreline. Pending the winds, you can snorkel right from your backyard! We also found tons of shark teeth and even one, almost whole, meg. The interior of the house was clean and very beachy. The house had what we needed for our stay. You should wear water shoes out front in the ocean because there are tons of rocks and our feet still got scratched up. But you could see a lot of fish if you’re into snorkeling. Lastly, it’s Manasota Key…lots of privacy and just a beautiful area (even with all the storm damage)… so that’s what made it great as always! ##### Melissa W.
