Englewood Beach is located on beautiful Manasota Key, a barrier island located about 40 minutes south of Sarasota and 90 minutes north of Naples. Manasota Key offers a comfortable and relaxing environment that is unlike the high-rise hustle and bustle of Florida's east coast. Our Live Oak Landings condominium is just a short walk across the street from one of Florida's most pristine beaches, and located on Lemon Bay. Restaurants, beach bars with live entertainment and convenience stores are also just a short walk from the condominium. (Some locations may still be under repair in 2025, from previous storms) Sport fishing, boat and kayak rentals, jet skiing, and bike rentals are all available, less than a mile away. Theaters, major shopping, and fine dining can all be found within a 20-minute drive to Venice or Port Charlotte. There is a Walmart, grocery stores, restaurants and other local shopping within minutes of the unit, as well. Fish from our dock on Lemon Bay, or bring your small boat (max 18’), which may be docked at one of our slips for up to two weeks at a time. Please provide advance notice if you wish to reserve a slip. Our waters are home to exotic wildlife and some of the finest fishing in Florida. If you prefer, take a dip in our beautiful pool, hunt for shark teeth on our beautiful beaches, bike around the Key, or just curl up with that favorite novel, but be sure to catch a relaxing Florida sunset each evening on the beach. The condominium is fully appointed with all the comforts of home and is maintained in excellent condition. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. There is even a small dumbwaiter for assistance with your luggage and groceries. A large carport and garage offer plenty of room for your gear. There are bicycles, fishing gear, beach chairs, umbrellas, kids toys, coolers, a beach cart for bringing your items to the beach. PLEASE NOTE: Our condo has NEVER experienced any storm damage, since being built. It is in a safe and well protected area of our complex. We recently booked for 31 night stay & left after 5 nights! Place is 24 years old & needs repairs & updating! The public beach is still closed due to hurricane damage but we still had access and also a short drive to several other beaches. The heated pool was very nice too! Many nice restaurants a short drive away and several bars within walking distance.The only downfall was not being able to use a grill. We love to grill so it was a bit disappointing. It seems like there could be a community grill at the pool for use.Jay is a wonderful host and very quick to respond to any questions we had. It was nice to have a garage and an extra parking space for visitors. The condo was very well appointed with everything we needed for our stay. We hope to return! Thanks Jay! ##### Pamela P. This was a very well -stocked condo with a great location. Our big disappointment was the lack of the pool heater because a part had not been shipped. Consequently, it was impossible to swim. I’m not sure when a new dock will be built because many residents are still focusing on returning to their condos because of the recent hurricane. Shark tooth hunting was great, but fishing, not so much. With the hurricane and recent red tide, maybe our timing was not so great. My family of four, including 2 small children, had a fantastic stay!! We found the condo in clean condition and it far exceeded our expectations. This location is perfect! Steps away from a salt water pool, 2 minute walk from beautiful Gulf waters, and less than 5 minutes to walk to local restaurants and convenience store. We were very satisfied with the property and all the amenities. The dumb waiter was extremely helpful and my 2 year old was amazed by it. The master closet is so large, we used it as the toddler’s room. :) Additionally, the small sun room made the perfect office for my husband to work remotely. The owner, Jay, responded almost immediately to all of my messages and was eager to help answer questions we had. We took advantage of the boogie board, fishing pole, and bikes left in the garage. It was a blessing to not have to pack those large items in our van! My husband took up “shark teeth hunting” as a new hobby during our stay and we now have over 300! The other beaches in the area are also incredible and we especially enjoyed the diversity of shells and sand. We quickly realized why this area is often referred to as a Hidden Gem. This has truly been a most memorable month for our family and we will forever hold Manasota Key and Live Oak in our hearts.
