I want to provide an updated overview of the Sunburst Condo Complex following Hurricanes Helene and Milton. All hurricane-related repairs have been completed except for the pool deck and a portion of the siding, which are still scheduled for upcoming work. All other amenities throughout the complex are fully restored. Beach Access: The sun deck and boardwalk were destroyed, but beach access remains fully open using a sand path. Beaches: Both the public beach and the beach directly in front of Sunburst Condos are open. The sand at the complex has been sifted for a clean and comfortable beach experience. Island Conditions: Manasota Key experienced significant overall damage. Guests staying in 2025 should expect some construction activity around the island as recovery continues. Local Businesses: The Waverly, White Elephant Pub, and Beachcombers Trading Post have reopened, with additional restaurants and shops continuing to rebuild.
