The manager, Yvette was fantastic. So kind, helpful, and responsive. Great house with thoughtful amenities to make guests comfortable, including filters for finding shark teeth at the beach, wagons and umbrellas for the beach, first aid kits in the house, and plenty of towels. The couch was big and SO comfortable! Beds were also great including one with a fantastic, firm mattress that was great for a couple of us with sore backs. Loved the decor, large living room and bedrooms with lots of closet space. Close to the Gulf, with nice quiet beach good for shelling. Found lots of conch shells in the evening in June. Beautiful sunsets with dolphins. This was yoir average beach house. Lots of stuff to use at the beach. Everything was a little run down but thats expected at a beach house. It was not dirty. The issue we had was getting to the beach. Due to storms the path was not usable and information about this was poorly communicated to me and my family. I will say once we found the beach. I was surprised by our Easter gift in the fridge from Vacasa couch was comfortable although the bed was a little firm, but that didn’t keep me from crashing at night. Walking distance to beach, homes access was blocked due to hurricane damage, but we just used the next one down🤷 All the locals are friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for a five star resort, this may not be for you. As the title says, I think the furniture was all purchased at 2nd hand stores, mattresses were very hard as someone mentioned on Vacasa website review. Be sure to check that website out for more info about the amenities that are not available at this location prior to booking. Did not know it was through a 3rd party. Received an email stating the private beach access was closed, the one you can walk to, after booking. Wife had a kitchen knife break when she went to cut a loaf of sourdough bread. 4 forks in the joint but 37 cups. The 10 digit code for the door is a bit much. They say for safety reasons but dont think they need to worry about people coming back. Quiet time is 9PM maybe they should let the people know living/staying in the homes behind the property that. No the construction work is not done behind the property either, had truck/trailerbacking in beeping at 7AM 3 of the days. Some of the shared beach chairs need to be replaced, unless you're up to date on your tetnus shot. Cant forget the "curly" hair on the inside of the fridge, so not sure if they are using the same cloths to clean the bathroom as the inside of the fridge.
