My husband, two teen daughters, and I spent a couple of nights here, and it was the perfect retreat. The place was impeccably clean and well-equipped with everything we needed. The beds were incredibly comfortable and spacious, providing plenty of room for my daughters to share a bed comfortably. The host was also very responsive and pleasant, making communication easy and stress-free. We all fit well in the space and had a blast! The beds and linens were so wonderful and super comfortable. No AC, but fans were provided and we were able to enjoy the cool San Deigo breeze. Moonlight Beach and downtown Encinitas were about a 5 minute drive from the apartment. Lauren, the host, was so responsive and helpful! The downstairs tenant complained about us within the first 10 minutes of our arrival, she did not like my young kiddos running around while we were unloading the car. The host was out of the country during our visit but her husband John was easy to communicate with via text. One of the beds broke our first night (when we sat on it) and he brought a new bed frame the next day. The unit was not very clean, the floor turned our feet black almost instantly. There was mold in the bathroom, hair/dust on most baseboards/windows, and stained furniture and carpets throughout. The newly remodeled kitchen was nice.
