No one likes rules, least of all, us -- but we do have a few requirements so that the home is in as perfect a shape for each guest as possible.

-The maximum occupancy for the property may not be exceeded at any time.
-Host may request a photocopy of renter's ID for verification before check-in.
-This is a private property and the host reserves the right to access the property at any time to perform maintenance repairs necessary or requested by the renter.
-Maintenance schedule: we are unable to offer refunds or credits for inconveniences due to scheduling and maintenance done during your stay. We also request that our maintenance teams are not turned away if they should overlap your stay. Such instances can result in a $100 penalty as we will still incur a 'show up' charge, even if no work is performed.
-Absolutely no parties or loud music.
-This is a NON-SMOKING property.
-NO animals or pets of any kind are permitted at the Property except (1) as specifically authorized in your reservation, or (2) bona fide service animals that we are required by law to allow. Emotional support animals are not permitted except as authorized pets. You agree that a prohibition on animals is not a guarantee that an animal has not been inside the Property or that the Property is free of animal or pet allergens. If pets were to be brought without our consent and knowledge, guests will have their reservation canceled immediately.
By confirming this booking I also understand that it is my responsibility as a renter of the residence within the City of Encinitas to follow all rules and regulations below. Guests are responsible for any fines/citations/penalties received by host or owner if caused intentionally or negligently by guest or guests of guest
TRASH: Trash pick-up is Thursday morning. Trash and refuse shall not be left or stored within public view except at a location that is designated for collection from sunset on the day prior to trash pick-up until up to midnight on the day designated for trash pick-up. Trash containers may not be left out any other time.
NOISE: Loud and Raucous Noise Prohibited. It is not allowed transmission of any loud or raucous noise, from any sound-making equipment or sound amplifying device to occur or be maintained at a short-term rental. A raucous noise may include but is not limited to, the following: yelling, screaming, shouting, or making other disturbing noises which unreasonably interferes with the peace and quiet of the nearby residents or members of the public.
Loud and Unruly Gatherings Prohibited. A loud and unruly gathering shall include, but is not limited to, the following: the number of occupants and/or guests at the short-term rental exceeds the number permitted on the short-term rental permit; the activities of the occupants and/or guests create raucous noise and/or unreasonably loud amplified music that may be heard by nearby residents or members of the public; and/or occupants and/or guests engage in or create disorderly conduct in a manner that disturbs the public peace.

The Hot Tub temperature control requires a few seconds "Rest" between pressing the button for temperature increase vs. decrease.
-Security camera/recording device — Our properties may have outdoor security cameras aimed on the exterior of the home, doorbell camera and/or an alarm system for the safety of the house and its occupants. Non-recording audio monitoring devices (NoiseAware) might be installed onsite to warn us of excessive noise and avoid complaints.
