There are 3 bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms which could be used by parents/grandparents and then 2 more queen bedrooms and a bunk room which all share 2 bathrooms. The floorpan is very family friendly and nice and open. Enjoy one of the nicest beaches in southern California just steps from the front doors, relax on the balcony and soak up a dramatic sunset all the while enjoying a rare private yard. This home has a large private garden in front which is unheard of so close to the beach. You truly get the best of both worlds being across from the beach, yet have rare privacy of beach homes. This home was completely refinished in 2015\. All the surfaces are new. The mattresses are all top of the line memory foam, encased and then fitted with luxurious linens. The home is professionally decorated with a clean, sleek beach theme. Listen to the waves crash as the ocean lulls you to sleep at night. Watch your children play volleyball on the sand courts right from the comfort of your balcony or enjoy a family dinner in a private yard setting. This is one of the closest homes to Moonlight Beach and you can walk to the beach in a few seconds and enjoy white water views from every room upstairs and on the balcony. Downtown Encinitas is just a short walk away with trendy shops, award winning restaurants and a small beach atmosphere with the perfect amount of night life. Hop on the Coaster train and head down to San Diego or up to Santa Barbara. There is really no need for a car, but the home has parking for 3-4 vehicles. My husband and I stayed in the downstairs room with the small kitchen and in the middle of the night the front part of the bed mattress fell to the ground. After picking up the mattress we noticed that several slats were missing and the frame was not attached to the headboard as well as the center leg was bent. Cozy fenced green yard with blooming roses was an additional space for us too. This home is walking distance to downtown breweries, coffee shops, pizza and shopping. The yard was also lovely with plenty of room to sit outside in privacy. There was ample parking and it was so peaceful in the neighborhood. The beach right across the street added to the quality of the experience, in addition to it being within walking distance of shops, etc. Interacting with our host was also a positive experience. She was prompt and welcoming, allowing us to check in earlier, which was a great benefit after my guests had traveled far to get here. I would not hesitate to rent this lovely home. ##### Marcia M. Great location but amenities could've been better. Ants in kitchen drawers and on counter. Only one dishtowel, no facial tissue in entire place and could've used more towels. The beds were comfortable and clean. The kitchen is well equipped. The home had enough supplies (paper towels, toilet paper etc) for our entire stay. The yard was an amazing added bonus and included yard games, and beach toys. We could have left our beach towels home - they were included! Literally steps to the sand and a playground across the street. We were there on a holiday weekend and although the beach was busy, we were surprised how quiet the home was. We were able to park 4 vehicles easily on the driveway. We would definitely rent this home again. Thank you Rebecca for your prompt response to a question we had. ##### Donald M. Oct 21, 2021 Liked: Check-in, communication, location #### Great location Disappointed by noisy constructions and insects (maybe termite) This was our first VRBO experience. The location was fantastic the house was very roomy as described. The host was flexible in allowing us to do early check in and later check out. However, the construction on the next door house and the noisy work that was going on in the house at the back (which started at 7 am) really took a lot of our enjoyment away. I wish these were disclosed. In addition, the downstairs was not cleaned properly and we started seeing a lot of insects (termite). we provided the host with a picture. I truly believe we should get some credit back, because we could not really enjoy our stay as much as we could.
