"This is absolutely the best place to stay for a wonderful time at Lake Gaston. It is not just the very cleanest and well maintained place, the decor is soooo nice and the view from the balconies is amazing. It is clear the owners take a lot of pride in this unit and they are easily contacted should you have any questions. "Nice little house with lots of room. Sleeps at least 8 people. The house seems to be a work in process, as missing handles, caulking the bathroom floor etc. Was clean, only one room has closet space. Needed more dishes, pot holders and to go through their shelves. Advertised as pet friendly for both cats and dogs, however a day before we arrived we got instructions to keep the pets off the furniture, not sure how you do that with cats. If we had known this we would have booked else where."

"We had a fabulous stay. The property was exactly as listed. The little cove the house is located by was perfect for younger kids to safely play in the water right off the dock. They enjoyed the paddle board and kayak provided and the ladder off the dock was perfect for them to get out of the water. The available slip was a great addition for getting our boat put away when not in use. We will rent again in the future if available."

"We had hoped for a fun weekend at Lake Gaston, that is exactly what we got. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We typically don't cook much on getaways like this one, but we enjoyed doing so this trip. There is a 2nd refrigerator that was great for beverages. It was a short and easy walk to the dock. The dock was big enough for sunbathing and fishing. The cove we were located on did have a good amount of boat traffic and our neighbors were friendly....

"We loved the house and the amenities it offered. It had everything we needed with plenty of space for the 6 of us. The parents stayed upstairs and the teens stayed downstairs. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the dock was great for fishing! There was easy access to the lake - this house is not up on a hill with lots of steps. We brought our own boat and kept it at the dock wish was really convenient. The house is situated at the end of a narrow cove, so we decided not to float around the water...

"We loved this property. Everything was clean and we had all amenities needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. We didn’t have to eat out for every meal, which was great. My grandson wasn’t with us on this trip, but it has a bedroom that is kid friendly with a day/trundle bed, a small table with chairs and a variety of books provided, as well as a desk.
