Beach access. The Sandlot - Stay right on the beach! Nestled just steps from the Atlantic Ocean is this completely updated 8 Bedroom, 6 Bathroom cottage that sports incredible views, an oceanfront pool, hot tub, and spacious oceanfront trex deck. The home is currently offered as a single family rental. Originally set up as duplex, a doorway INSIDE the home between the living rooms separates or connects the two sides. This allows you to enjoy and share your space, but also gives you the convenience and separation should you choose! (TWO kitchens, TWO Living spaces!) The layout includes two identical sides. This means there are two fully stocked kitchens (one on each side), and two family rooms (one on each side), with a doorway connecting the two sides that is accessible from inside the home. The home was renovated in 2022 to include brand new kitchen cabinets and countertops, new floors through the home, new paint, and a brand new master bathroom on both East and West sides spring 2023\. New decking and new roof! The home feels brand new. Each master bedroom has a king bed, and its own, amazing, large private oceanfront covered balcony overlooking the pool and beach, with unobstructed views of the ocean. Each master bedroom has a brand new master bathroom put in the spring of 2023 with walk in shower, toilet, and single vanity. Overall, EACH side hosts: An OCEAN FRONT Master bedroom on the top floor, with private spacious balcony overlooking the pool and direct ocean views. A second bedroom upstairs with two sets of twin bunk beds (4 twin beds total) A third bedroom upstairs with queen bed. A play area/ lounge room with daybed (floor space here will fit a standard size pack-n-play). A first floor bedroom (with queen bed), convenient to the first floor bathroom and kitchen. Totaling 8 bedrooms, 2 play/rec rooms, and 6 bathrooms. Fully fenced in pool area for an added safety measure. You can walk right to the beach access without needed to enter the pool area. Great for young kids. Pool and hot tub are professionally cleaned and maintained 1-2x per week depending on season. Pool can be heated for $650 per week, just let us know ahead of your stay if you'd like to add this! Custom pricing for shorter stays. High speed internet with Roku TVS Two sets of washer/dryers located underneath the home. The whole place is extremely calming, with a superb pool and hot tub that made it feel like a true getaway. The walk to the beach couldn’t be easier, it’s right on one of the best stretches of beach, and the lookout is so extraordinarily beautiful. One of the highlights was the master bedroom, you can literally see the beach right from the bed, like something straight out of a movie. Everything about this place is spectacular. Pool and hot tub were a hit and the pool company came several times while we were there. The house was not very clean and we had to recast all the dishes before using. It would be nice if the cleaning people or those there before us would have split stuff up. Made it hard particularly in the mornings to make stuff whe. This was the perfect place for our family! We used the decks, pool and beach access every day. Having two kitchens was ideal since we have a family member with an extreme food allergy. There definitely needs to be wine glasses...there were absolutely no glasses appropriate for wine. Clearly, people rent both sides: one side had all the plates, the other side had more than its share of pots. Very frustrating. (We did try to leave with both sides equally distributed with glasses and dishes.) Honestly, if every bed is filled, there are not enough dishes for everyone. That said, we did enjoy the cottages. Aug 9, 2025 Liked: Check-in, location Disliked: Cleanliness, communication, listing accuracy Lots of the little things just not right - the hot tub didn’t work, the grill was nasty and unusable, there were red ants all over the pool deck, half of the house had a mildewy/wet-dog smell to it, and the sliding glass doors were so grimy and weathered in the track system they were very hard to open and close. It took several phone calls to the management company, and messages to the owner, to finally get someone to come out to the home. They were not able to fix the hot tub, they had one can of pest spray which didn’t put much of a dent in the ants, they sprayed WD-40 on the sliding glass doors but that didn’t improve the ease of opening. They did clean the grill good enough to use, so some credit there I guess. If you are looking for a lot of bedrooms right on the water with a pool, and you don’t care about the details, this house is sufficient for that. The only thing I would suggest is that you bring dish towels and maybe a few bath towels and rags, there wasn’t many of those. This was the perfect house with perfect views for our intimate wedding weekend. We called twice due to needing maintenance and Aaron picked right up and communicated so well about when they’d be there. We all thoroughly enjoyed everything, from the fantastic communication, your generous hospitality, and the well appointed (and extremely comfortable) accommodations. The heated pool was worth every penny, the hot tub was a huge hit, the rocking chairs were loved by all, the gates were certainly appreciated with a toddler, and the proximity of the beach couldn’t have been any better! May 8, 2017 #### Excellent and cozy cottage Our first time in Emerald Isle and it will not be our last! This cottage was perfect and so comfortable. The view from the master bedroom in the morning is stunning, and the private deck off the master is an added touch. We loved the added feature of the pool as well. Plenty of bedrooms and amenities in a relatively small footprint. Recently remodeled, everything was a pleasure and just about perfect, seriously. It felt like home for our growing extended family. It was super clean when we arrived and even had some necessities that most homes don’t provide (hand soaps, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.), so we didn’t need to run out asap to purchase them. The pool was great for the children when we weren’t on the beach. Overall an excellent stay and we hope to book again soon! ##### Mickey D. We really loved the Trex decking and vinyl on the decks. No slivers!!! Pool and hot tub was a bonus! The common areas were appropriate size for 8 people. We headed to Emerald Isle Beach for the first time Memorial weekend. Found the Sandlot and fell in love. The house is awesome. Duplex thats been totally updated and has a door connecting family rooms. Private and direct beach access, amazing decks, tons of parking, a pool and all very well equipped. Its changed our whole search criteria for any place we go. The managers/owners were very easy to deal with and the check in/out was about the easiest we've ever experienced.
