Beautifully decorated and furnished to include linens and towels. Perfect for multi-families vacationing together! Sleeps 8. Deck overlooking ocean includes rocking chairs for relaxing and enjoying the beach and ocean views! This home is non-smoking and pets not allowed. Renters are required to fill out an accidental damages form.

On the Beach

Really enjoyed staying in this house. Kitchen was well stocked for when we didn't want to eat out. Easy access to the beach and close to shopping and grocery stores. Had 2 nice outdoor showers to wash up before entering the house from the beach. Owner was very accessible.

House was great. Had more than you could possibly need in the way of supplies in the kitchen, games, and t.v.'s. Great location. Loved the boardwalk, less stairs. Great place would definitely rent it again. Totally had a great time at Gull Watcher.

Beautiful, Clean, and Spacious

My family and I stayed a week at this beautiful property and had the best time! There was plenty of space for the 6 of us plus a baby. Edith was super helpful in ensuring we had a pack n play, and made the check in process seamless. The home had plenty of blankets, beach toys under the deck, seating, and lots of kitchen equipment. We did have to buy dishwasher pods and trash bags, but otherwise the home was well-stocked for a week long stay. We made many memories here and hope to come back!

Perfect location!

We really knew nothing about Emerald Isle before our stay. We didn’t really know what to expect. But we loved the house and location for many reasons. The beach was beautiful and clean and surprisingly uncrowded for the middle of the summer. We were very close to grocery stores, restaurants and ice cream! The neighborhood was very quiet. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. We LOVED being right on the beach. It was a perfect week for our family!

Perfect!

This beach house was perfect for our family vacation with ages ranging from 80+ to 2 years old! There was plenty of room for our group of eight!… the only downfall was that I didn’t see anywhere in the description while booking about all the bedrooms being on a separate floor than anything else. My grandparents that are in their 80’s don’t do stairs as well but we made it work. Would definitely stay at the Gull Watcher again!

Steps to the beach and into town

Pros: • Beach Front ●Covered deck ●Proximity to food/grocery ●Ample space for meals and hanging out at night ●Has all the kitchen essentials and a washer/dryer ●Great space for little ones to play (we had 3 kids ages 1-5 y.o) Cons ● Showers have no pressure. We ended up using the outdoor showers as the pressure was significantly better. They are private and roomy. ●House was not well cleaned upon arrival. But I contacted the property manager and she got someone out within 30 minutes to clean the areas missed. We would stay here again.

Very nice beach home with great view

Overall very good. Please tell owner we saw a few roaches and there is a hornet nest under deck. Great view of ocean. Overall well kept home. May rent again sometime.

Fabulous Family Vacation

The house was perfect. Edith even called to let us know that the house was ready early. That was very helpful since we were going to be arriving a couple hours before check-in! Could have used more towels but we also did ask for more…we just washed them daily. The location on the beach is perfect! We really enjoyed our trip!

Location is amazing, but everything else needs work!

We have been to Emerald Isle several times and this house did not provide five star amenities. If I could say a few things about the house without sounding too critical it would be...Great location! However, the carpets and throw rugs need replacing badly... they are filthy. The sliding glass door to the beach and porch is very old and doesn’t close all the way... I’m pretty sure it’s the original slider that came with the house when it was built (a long time ago). The sheets on all the beds are old and slip off the mattress while you sleep because they are too small for the bed. The towels are thin and feel like some you would find in a motel. On the first day our shower clogged and we needed Drain-o because it was so clogged. We actually had to dig out other people’s hair! There is absolutely no refills for dish soap, trash bags, salt/pepper, toilet paper, paper towels, detergent, or hand soap. (PACK ALL OF THESE ON YOUR OWN....) Also make sure to pack your own beach towels, beach chairs, and umbrella too.. There aren’t any given with the house to begin with. Again, the location and the floor plan were very family friendly... but the amenities need quite a bit of work.

Beautiful location, honest staff

This oceanfront location is great with plenty of room and amenities such as outdoor showers for a large family. One of our party ended up forgetting a precious family necklace at the location and the staff found + mailed it back to us which I am very grateful for.

Gull watcher

Everything was wonderful! The view, the bedrooms, the three bathrooms and the deck were perfect. Huge kitchen was great for cooking! Sometimes the downstairs got very hot but it was very doable. The bedrooms were nice and cool. Thank you!! We will be back!

Beautiful house and location! The ocean views are spectacular!!

We had a great stay at Gull Watcher - really enjoyed being so close to the beach and the comfortable house and porch. Outdoor showers are really nice and house is mainly well equipped in terms of the kitchen, etc. Only challenge was the lack of household basics - very little toilet paper and paper towels and no dishwasher detergent or sponges. We had brought things from home since we don’t live far, but this might be an issue for people traveling from farther away. Just a heads up. All in all though, a great house - we would definitely stay here again! Thank you!!!

Great House!

Great home in excellent location on Emerald Isle. The beach was fantasticl as far as I could tell. it was the only home with lights on the boardwalk from the house to the beach, which was very helpful in the evening. Home is well kept and there is plenty of interior space on the main level, including two large dining areas. Definitely would stay there again!

It was a great place for a family vacation.

The property location was perfect. Right in front of the ocean. The house was very clean when we arrived. There were 4 nice bedrooms to accommodate all 8 of us and a nice-sized living space with plenty of sofa room and a large and smaller table set. Television sets were in all the bedrooms and the main living area. The upstairs and downstairs patios made for a nice relaxing time in the evenings. All the appliances worked.
