This beautifully renovated home on Burntside Lake offers the perfect blend of cabin tranquility and adventure, all year round. Located only 10 minutes from town, you'll enjoy the best of both worlds—seclusion and convenience. On a sandy shoreline, the property is uniquely flat, allowing for ease of access during all seasons. The elegant, yet comfortable home is approximately 1500 sq ft and includes 2 bedrooms, a dining table for 6, modern shower, and a large sectional couch. The kitchen and living room are an open concept, with the bathroom and laundry room are located adjacent to the kitchen. The east bedroom is larger and has a queen bed. The west bedroom is smaller and has two twin beds. The living room has a large sectional couch. There is an additional fridge freezer for extra cooler space. We supply all your basic kitchen needs, linens, extra blankets/pillows, towels, and basic toilet items. You will fall in love with the landscaping, docks, beach and outdoor patio. There is an 6 person patio table, grill, and several Adirondack chairs outside for your enjoyment. The lake is clear and shallow even quite a distance out from the shore. We will leave you a list of local spots we like to visit on the lake, as well as a map to the snowmobile trail. The property faces north and overlooks the lake. When conditions are right, it is not uncommon to see northern lights. The cabin was very clean upon arrival and check in was easy. The location is great, the town of Ely is only a short drive away, and its spot on the lake is very peaceful. The small beach and zero-entry water access is great for kids, and the private dock is a bonus. To note, the area around the dock is very shallow and larger boats may have a harder time docking. The grill is also great for outdoor cooking. The inside of the cabin was very nice and comfortable with plenty of space and items needed to prepare food and hang out. This property has a great lot with a sandy beach. A canoe and kayak to use. It said “newly remodeled”. I’d say updated but not the kitchen, A total disappointment . Old and kinda dirty. I could look past the cabinets taped shut with white duct tape and the cabinets topped with enormous silk flowers with moth type flies going in but could not get past the lack of thought put into the needs of renters. If you plan on making meals bring your own stuff. There were 3 small sauce pans,a small frypan, a small dirty cookie sheet and a baked on glass dish. If you want to boil some pasta forget it. There are 7 glasses. (4 of which are corona beer glasses. ) and a few coffee cups. Utensils that look like discards and a drawer of tossed in silverware with half in a ziplock bag??? The linen for the kitchen was stained ,the extra linen was basically ballled up in a shelf and if someone were to need to sleep on the pullout couch there are no blankets.it was too hot for it anyway. There were 5 of us for a while. We laughed that the one closet,which was large , had 5 hangars. One for each of us. A nightstand with a light would be great so you don’t have to get out of bed to shut off the ceiling light in the bedroom. It just seemed like there was not much thought. A trip to the dollar store might take care of some of these things. A previous review stated they wish there were more pots and pans and they chose not to follow through.
