"Very nice hotel, nice and clean and spacious rooms. Special shout out to the lovely lake, with the weather we had it was superb to sit out there with a beer."

"Excellent full English breakfast with great coffee and some fruit juices. Very cheerful and friendly staff. Booking in was easy and parking was £6 per day, paid inside reception. (Only rip-off with this hotel chain.)"

"Dukes head is a a grand building. The hotel is beautifully decorated and extremely clean. Our room was lovely, clean and comfortable. Restaurant was friendly and food excellent quality and value. Self service style breakfast had everything you would need. A variety of big name shops within easy walking distance as was the harbour area."
