It was so incredibly disgusting. The room was dirty and just felt dirty. We found a roach in the bathroom. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL!! RUN!!!

Pool was closed, which is why we picked it - so daughters disappointed about not being able to swim. Daughter who slept on pull out couch got bedbug bites all over back. Woken up at 7am due to fire alarm and had to run out in bare feet and PJ's.

The hotel was fine. We were very disappointed we were told at check in the pool was down, which was one of the reasons we chose this location. It was too late to try and find somewhere else at that point. The beds were decent, the pillows were uncomfortable.

Check in was problematic. While the young lady at the front was pleasant, there were a lot distractions and the process was not smooth. It took quite a while to get fully checked in. We were staying multiple nights and were told that cleaning services were not available. When we returned to the hotel there was an out of order sign on the elevator. We were on the third floor. When asked about relocating to the first floor it wasn’t an option. Upon departure I asked to have the General Manager to call me but I haven’t heard from anyone to date.

Room was nicer and more updated than the previous Country Inn we’d stayed in this trip, but the property was just as run down. Pool was closed and when we went to check out, the elevator was broken and we had to haul all of our stuff down the stairs from the third floor. Not fun while towing a small child. Also, very understaffed. Took awhile to check in because there seemed to be one person working and she was in another area. We didn’t have pillows for the pullout bed, but weren’t able to get that resolved before our son went to sleep because the front desk wasn’t available.

This is great location of Rt 17 in horseheads They’re rooms are ok Nothing exciting or boring Bathroom are upgraded Lobby is nice and clean and offers breakfast and fresh cookies along with hot tea and coffee

We were only here for less than 12 hours, so my description is short and sweet! We were greeted at 11pm by a warm women and soft delicious cookies in the lobby. We were in the far end of the hotel, where I was told the internet doesn’t reach when I mentioned I can’t connect. I had to walk to the lobby to use it, which was a little annoying, but not the end of the world. I used the gym in the morning, which was fine. They have some cardio machines and weights. I could tell it’s rarely used since the disinfecting wipes were all dried up. I didn’t mind being alone in there though! I inquired about the pool, but was told it was still closed and she wasn’t sure when it would reopen. Breakfast had a decent variety of food, and there was an attendant there at all times refilling bread/etc…. They used disposable plates, cups and cutlery though, which is disappointing since it’s awful for the environment. There was cookies/tea/coffee/hot chocolate 24/7, which was nice though. The room itself was a nice size and clean. Same for the bathroom. We were only given 2 bath towels for 4 people, which I thought was odd, but since we left after breakfast and couldn’t use the pool, the kids didn’t need to bathe. Overall, the hotel was totally fine for the night. I’m not sure I’d want to spend one week there since the internet/pool thing would have become annoying though.

I've stayed at this property and have liked it. Nice clean rooms. This stay, the pool was closed. The gym was open, but all of the equipment was removed. It was an empty room. Toiletries in my room were never replaced when the previous occupant was in the room. Shampoo & Conditioner bottles were empty. Tissue box had 3 sheets. The breakfast was not much to speak of.

I came here on my way back from Edmonton Alberta Canada , I just want to say this was one of the nicest hotels I had stayed at. Everything had been refreshed. The staff was superior and so friendly and welcoming. The pool is under repair at the time I stayed but I believe I was given an upgrade that more than made up for it. Thank you for the great stay
