Very comfortable bed. Small pillows, however. Carpet had stains. Shower was great. We only stopped to sleep & it was exactly what we needed. Breakfast was simple; waffles, yogurt, cereal, waffles.

First, the good. They allow dogs and there was a very nice pool and hot tub that we enjoyed. Otherwise, we didn't have a good experience. We tried three different times to come to the front desk to get our keys coded, but they could only get one key to work at a time so we gave up. For a family in a room that sleeps four, only two towels were provided and there were no towels at all in the pool area. The breakfast was only toast, bagels, cereal, and waffles. All carbs. No meat, dairy, eggs, or fruit. They didn't even offer jelly or jam for the toast. They had one coffee container that guests, including myself, were constantly waiting on as it kept running out and they were slow brewing more. Overall, I would not stay here again unless other options are unavailable.

The hotel is quiet and the parkink is convenient. I have stayed in this motel 3 times a year for the past four years. It has steadily gone down hill. It has worn carpet and broken tiles all over. The hot tub heater is still broken since we started staying here. The pool finally opened after four years. The phones only call in house so if you don't have a cell phone your screwed. This is my last time ever staying here. Would not recommend this place.

I only got a hotel for the night because the well at my deciesed moms house where we are working is being treated, our bodies are aching and we were told not to bathe in the water for a while and wanted to shower and sit in the hot tub. We were advised on check in that the hot tub isnt working and there is dried blood in the top of the shower, there is a quarter of a roll of toilet paper left from previous guests and our sheets have a bunch of yellowish brown stains on them. There are plenty of other hotels in Hays we could have stayed in but the hot tub was the deciding factor for this place and it doesnt work, I'm disapointed, as i try to sleep with an achy body in this hotel room that also has a funk smell. Too tired to pack everything to fight for a new room... Not happy!

Just okay.
After reading so many positive reviews I was expecting a little better. Night clerk was very pleasant. Carpet in the room was terribly stained and shower had hair in it from precious guest. Hair dryer didn’t work and they had no replacement. Breakfast was good but not everyone drinks coffee or needs the sugar in hot chocolate. Tea bags would have been nice but they didn’t have any. Overall, if I were passing thru again and needed to stop, I probably would but with lower expectations.

First off it smelled heavily of smoke even with no smoking signs being everywhere. There is literally one employee doing everything. It wasn’t late in the evening when we checked in either. We had to ask for a second key even though it was clear there was two of us. When we got to the room the bed had no comforter or any heavy bedding. Even though it is the middle of winter and all the photos show the rooms having it. Would not recommend ever staying here when there are several other options at the same price point.

Not too bad.
The motel needs some deep cleaning - our room had several large stains on the rug and also the tub was a bit gross- I think it was clean but didn't look very nice and the towels had stains on. But all in all it wasn't too bad. I wouldn't stay their alone as a single female but having my husband there was better. Bed was comfy! I was surprised at how quiet it was even though we were in room 110 right next to the entrance. The biggest thing that bothered me was the smell of breakfast in the morning. Due to an upset stomach the smells first thing weren't good

Great stay
Great stay. A cable was missing from my TV resulting in no connectivity. After notifying the receptionist, she quickly went to another room and took one off of that TV and brought it to my room and connected it to my TV to allow connection and viewing. She apologized and told me people are starting to steal them from the rooms. I was a little disappointed there wasn’t any fresh fruit available for breakfast. I was hoping for an apple or banana. My room was quiet, comfortable and warm.

We have stayed here a couple times as a halfway point in a longer trip. The front desk service has been excellent even when we came in very late because we got delayed by snowy roads.

Stayed here 1 night on our road trip adventure. Very affordable charming vintage prints adored the room which was comfortable quiet. Get to breakfast early! Needs TV upgrade. A-OK !

Well - you basically get what you pay for. Overall the experience was ok but for the price you don't expect much. You get bombarded by cats when you enter the parking lot and it appears someone there at the property is feeding them so they are everywhere. Two of them parked underneath my vehicle before I even had the motor shut off. Check in was good - I asked for 2 rooms together when the reservation was made and I called the property before hand to make the same request - was told this would be no problem. Apparently both of those requests were ignored but the front desk person was able to make it happen when we actually checked in. Had an issue with the TV in our room because it would not turn on - called the front desk and was told he would have another remote up in a few minutes. It was easily 30-45 minutes later when the remote showed up because we had given up and went to bed. That remote did not work either and I actually fixed the issue myself the next morning by rebooting the cable box. The ac/heat unit in our room had broken fins on it so the broken fins rattled all night when it was running. Truck stop right across the street so its noisy until that truck traffic slows down for the evening. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Like I said earlier - the price is pretty cheap so as long as you like cheap over quality you should be fine. We were only there for one night - would not stay here for multiple nights.

Upon check in , the guy swiped my credit card for the room , then asked for it again and swiped it for “ incidentals” . Upon check out , to requested a receipt and only got one for the dog($10) . The nice lady told me that I should not have been charged for the room as it went through Hotels.com. She looked into it and reassured me that my card would not be charged twice. The bathroom was dirty, toilet not cleaned, no toilet paper holder, carpet not vacuumed- kept stepping on debris on the carpet. Breakfast was very minimal, compared to other Days Inns we’ve stayed at
