Week Getaway to Ellijay

This place was AMAZING! Between the beauty of the property, the amenities, and the super cool layout of the cabin, our stay was perfect. We checked out some of the nearby tourism sights and we were not disappointed. The host was super friendly and did check ups to see if there was anything was needed. We had an amazing time and definitely would love to visit in the future! It was fantastic!!

Beautiful

This property and views are LOVELY. It is private (but not isolated) and is well appointed with everything they said. Love that the hot tub is open to the sky, the stars were amazing. The decorations are not overdone, I would live in this house full time! :)

Great getaway

Lovely little cabin on almost 6 acres with a trail heading up the mountain to explore. You are the top cabin on the mountain so you really feel remote. Wood fireplace was fantastic and hot tub really did the trick after a long day of hiking. Would definitely return.

Fantastic Cabin!

Having previously rented numerous properties in Ellijay over the years, in various communities, we found Chris's cabin to be the best of all. The location and the privacy it provides cannot be beat. The decor truly made it feel like coming home at the end of each day as we looked forward to the peacefulness of the back deck. We highly recommend this cabin if you truly want to escape to a serene setting.

Fantastic little getaway place!

This is a gem of a listing on VROB, Chris the owner was great to deal with, very fast in his response to our contact. My husband and I came up for apples and cider donuts from Mississippi and were not disappointed with our stay. The house was well lit, clean and the hot tub was ready to sink into. Great location for couples.

Private peaceful cabin

My husband and I plus or dog had such a relaxing time here. The cabin was the perfect size for just us three. It was nice and clean. It is tucked away at the top of the hill by itself. The property the cabin sits on is beautiful. It was so peaceful and there is a trail to walk on rhe backside of the property which was a plus! This was great to take our dog for morning walks. We loved sitting on the porch in the morning and late afternoons. This was a very relaxing place to stay!

Love this little gem!

We appreciate the owners/cleaners leaving the place lit up so well, since we did arrive after dark. Two ladies taking a “ girls weekend”.Just the right amount of seclusion to escape! Great location, easy to get to. Adorable cabin, great use of space. Pet friendly-even tho we didnt bring one. Great property for taking off on a hike. We had everything we needed here! Would love to stay here again.

The place was cozy, welcoming peaceful and the view was so pretty but we did find dog hairs on the floors, couch and master bed. If housekeeping can be improved then this place will be 10/10. Other than that we enjoyed our stay, we would definitely come back.

Cozy, Comfortable Home

We had a wonderful stay at this cabin. It had a very warm, cozy, and welcoming feel. It was the perfect size for my husband, our 2 small pups, and myself to feel comfortable. The view from the back deck was so beautiful and serene. It was wonderful to be far enough from neighbors to experience complete privacy. The dogs loved exploring the outdoors. We didn't use the hot tub, but we did hear it running and it was already filled with water, so it looked like it was ready to go. Added bonus: The cabin is only 15 minutes away from Downtown Ellijay. We were enjoying our getaway so much that we extended it another day. Chris was responsive to our inquiries. The welcome message was informative and helped us prepare accordingly for our stay. (TIP: If you're arriving after dark, just remember, "Hang right" at the fork after turning onto the road the GPS directs you to.) The requests made for wrapping up our stay were also beyond reasonable. Thank you!

Location, location, location! This property is surrounded by acres of silent privacy smack in the middle of the mountainous woods, yet you can be in historic downtown Ellijay within 10 minutes. It’s also quite close to all the apple orchards and Amicalola Falls which is an outstanding state park!
Indoor fireplace makes the whole cabin super cozy!
Our dog LOVED to roam the property sniffing all the outdoor sniffs!

We had the most relaxing stay here for our anniversary. We came with our dog and she loved it as well. The home is very private with lots of nature to enjoy. Any issues we had were minor and the host was great. We would stay here again!

Sweet little cabin. Quiet at the end of the road. Easy ride. Large hot tub. Close to town and great wineries. Great for a weekend getaway. Any longer and you will have to wash laundry and do dishes. Very limited number of forks and spoons and towels.Our code did not work to the front door, but the owner replied ASAP with a new code, and we had no other problems.
