This luxury cabin sits on over 10 acres of secluded forests (over 500 acres adjacent to property is held in conservation) and is the ultimate setting for your next family vacation, corporate event or romantic get-away. This home was originally built in 2002, and then added on to in 2005, making this one of a kind vacation home the perfect blend of rustic mountain living combined with the latest in luxury comfort. This lodge has everything from hiking trails and beautiful streams all the way to WIFI open broadband Internet and three HD TV's with satellite. The lodge was painted on the interior in May 2023 with all new carpet on the stairs and in the bedrooms, and new flooring in the Kids' Room installed in September 2023 for an updated look. The lodge at Summit Ridge has 6 well appointed bedrooms with 5 1/2 baths. There are a total of 3 master bedrooms with the main master having a spa shower with 6 massaging shower heads. In all there are 2 King size beds, 1 queen size bed, 2 full size beds, nine twin beds and one crib. The lodge also has a portable "pack and play" crib available for use. The magnificent great room has 20 foot ceilings with open beams and a 65 inch HDTV television. We have a three in one game table featuring ping pong, pool and air hockey. The gourmet kitchen has plenty of workspace with a large dining table that seats sixteen people. There are also two separate laundry rooms with high capacity washer and dryers on two different levels. The cabin has all new paint and carpet, new sheets and towels, with updated bedding in each of the rooms. The kitchen is updated with all new plates, glassware and coffee mugs, as well as new silverware added. There are also brand new pots and pans, cutting boards and a new coffee maker that will make a full pot with coffee grounds or an individual cup of coffee with a single serve cup or with grounds. To make your stay even more special, there are over 1900 square feet of outside covered decks that wrap around the home with magnificent views, an outdoor fireplace and rustic cantilevered chandelier, plenty of seating, a 7-seat hot tub and an outdoor sound system. The cabin has an outdoor camera for security purposes that is facing the driveway, directed outward from the front porch and home. This camera is monitored between rentals to ensure the safety of our property and to make sure everything is maintained properly for our arriving guests. While this amazing home gives you all of the seclusion you could ever want, it is conveniently located just 15 minutes from shopping, dining and medical facilities in historic Ellijay and Blue Ridge, Georgia. For the serious shopper, the North Georgia Premium Outlets are just 25 minutes away!! You are also only minutes away from some of the North Georgia Mountains premier apple houses and fun-filled pumpkin patches, as well as the North Georgia wineries. In the summer we enjoyed the rocking chairs and lush green around the creek. On this trip we appreciated the fireplace with wood stacked and ready and the hot tub. The owners also surprised us with a bottle of local cider for our first night! There were 11 women, and we all had plenty of space to stretch out. Grateful for this gem! ##### Christa W. It was perfect. Only a 7 minute drive from Hillcrest Orchards and it was very private. The kids enjoyed the hot tub, the large open living room and all the rooms. We had plenty of space to spread out. The kids also liked taking a nature walk down behind the house and explored since it was flat. Highly recommend this property! The house was spotless, and there was plenty of space for everyone.Checking in was not as easy as I had hoped. Part of that was my fault, as I didn't screenshot the info that Kimberly had sent me before arriving. There was very limited phone service, and I was unable to access my Vrbo app or email. Another concern was the driveway. It's probably 1 mile from the main road on a one-lane dirt road driveway. It had just rained, which made it even harder to get through. By the end of our stay, I was getting used to it, but the first time was rough. I thought we were going to get stuck on the hill in front of the house.The internet (and therefore checking in) and the driveway are both beyond anyone's control, but they just need to be noted so that people know and there are no surprises. The setting is idyllic and serene. We loved not having other homes in sight, and made use of the trails, too! The rooms are large and spread out so everyone had ample wiggle room. The kitchen tables made it easy for all to gather together and the many porch spaces gave us places to sit in rain or sun. The house is in a very private location on a beautiful piece of land. Although you feel nice and secluded, you will be very close to the large apple orchards & town, which is perfect for getting out of the house. The rooms were also very private - I would highly recommend this house for larger groups that have multiple family units or children. The main living areas are located away from the bedrooms so we never feared disturbing anyone sleeping. We didn't have a chance to use the hot tub, but it was very large and in a perfect position on the expansive wraparound porch. You could tell the house was well taken care of, and that a lot of thought went into making it renter-ready. Our group consisted of 10 adults & 6 children. We have never had such a well equipped kitchen. We prepared all our meals & had every kitchen tool we needed and an abundance of dishes & utensils. It is the only property we’ve ever rented that actually had a table that would seat 16\. The children loved that they had their own space to sleep, gather, & play. The hot tub was a big hit & one day it was used as snow flurries swirled. We enjoyed the fireplace each day. Having the firewood provided was such a blessing. We spent our days hiking the property, rock hopping the stream, playing games, & playing breathing in the beautiful solitude of the wood lands. Cannot recommend more highly! ##### Libby R.
