Reservations made after 5pm for same day check in are NOT allowed. CHECK IN 4PM CHECK OUT 10AM Please Note: if you have over 8 guests up to the max occupancy of 10 in your party, your CC on file will be charged an additional $50 plus tax. This property is located in the Coosawattee River Resort which means you are able to utilize the amenities of the resort including the Rec Center with indoor olympic size heated pool, exercise room, arcade room, tennis courts, basket ball courts, putt putt golf, picnic areas at various parks within the resort and the 3 outdoor swimming pools (during summer season) at no additional cost to you for authorized groups up to 8 people. Please note, it is out of control should one or any of these amenities not be available during your stay and there should be no expectation of any refunds should this occur. None of our properties are within walking distance to the resort and depending on location, could be a 2 minute to 15 minute drive. We are thrilled to offer "Rockin' River",a beautiful 5 bedroom, 3 bath cabin that can sleep up to 10 guests! This cabin is right on Mountaintown Creek which is well known to serious trout fishermen as one of the best trout streams in North Georgia. The rushing waters of this stream provide a sense of tranquility to many who come here. Whether you've come to try your hand at a little fly fishing or you're just here to relax and take in the beauty of this area, Rockin River won't disappoint. Inside this cabin you'll find all the comforts of home and more! Beautiful and cozy leather reclining furniture in the great room provides the perfect place to unwind and enjoy easy conversations or watch a great movie with friends and/or family. The gas fireplace creates ambiance and warmth on a cool winters evening. The fully equipped kitchen allows plenty of space to create some great meals and the large dining table along with breakfast bar provides plenty of seating for everyone to enjoy a meal together. The spacious loft is a great place to slip away with a good book. The king master is located on the main level and has it's own private screened in covered porch overlooking the river, a great place to enjoy that first cup of morning coffee. There is also a large full bath with garden tub and walk in shower on the main level. Upstairs are two more bedrooms, both queens, and one has it's own private screened in covered porch overlooking the river. A full bath with tub/shower combo also resides on this level. Downstairs you'll find a bunk room with 4 twins,a full bath with walk in shower and the 5th bedroom which has a Queen size bed. Fire up the fire pit at dusk and roast some marshmallows, maybe tell some ghost stories with the kids or seeing who can find the first shooting star of the evening. The house had everything we needed, and the rooms were comfortable and clean. We really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and the hot tub. We can't wait to return in the summer to go tubing and swimming in the river. I also liked walking along the trail that follows the river, where there are some really impressive houses. The only issue we encountered was with the outdoor fireplace near the grill; we had planned to have a fire while grilling, but it wasn't working. Other than that, our stay was perfect. Steep front steps need to be lit better, rear corner of the house needs a floodlight because the footing is precarious. Need a working light on the porch where the grill is located. We had to use a miner's light to grill burgers. That said, there were plenty of towels, the house was very clean and comfy. We really wished the outside fireplace on the side porch had been operational...the weather was perfect for it. All in all a wonderful place to stay! Definitely would recommend. ##### Faith C. Location is great, it's large, the view of the stream is spot on. The kitchen supplies, plates, bowls, pots etc is lacking but, (and it's a big BUT) by far the main issue is there is a family of squirrels or raccoons that live in the attic. It's like a scene out of a horror movie. It kept everyone sleeping upstairs awake all night. You could hear their claws as they ran non-stop. The weather was perfect and enjoyed sitting on the deck. Lots of room for our large family and loved that it was pet friendly. AC was not working properly when we arrived but property manager had the repair man at the house extremely quickly and had the AC fixed. The home had beautiful views of the creek. The boys had a great time playing in the creek. We were not used to all the hills and the steep driveway but got used to it through our stay. Would highly recommend! ##### Jessica S. We enjoyed fishing and the pool table. Kitchen is good enough. Keurig and coffee maker. Couch needs to be fixed or replaced. Indoor pool requires a pass and we didn’t have one in the stated spot. The drive to the cabin driveway is a little steep but you get used to the Hills. (Maybe not great for older vehicles). We choose this property over another for the Pool Table and the pool table was not really usable (felt falling off rails and balls roll to one side). The house was comfortable and relaxing. The setting was beautiful. The house is very spacious. Loft area is especially nice. Maybe a nice tv on that level would be a good idea. We were amazed at the abundance of wildlife…. Turkeys and herds of deer. The bedding was terrible. Sheets were thread bare. Blankets did not fit the beds. Downstairs (terrace level) needs some attention… the rug in the bedroom is disgusting. It appears that there are pet stains on it. It really should be replaced or at least you could do is clean it. The upstairs bedrooms have no curtains on the windows. It wouldn’t be too much of an issue if the houses were a little further apart. Kitchen faucet barely trickles water. Everywhere else in the house water pressure is decent. We did have a leak in the downstairs bath. and reported it was promptly repaired. Overall we would give it a 3.5 out of 5 stars. We looking for a place with a hot tub which is clearly pictured, this was not functional and upon re-review of the listing was not mentioned so again, misleading. Pool table is completely unusable as well. Basement heater was malfunctioning and clearly leaked gas as not all of the burners would light, so also unusable. The creek was great and enjoyed the fire pit. We looked at lots of cabins but chose this one because of the bedrooms and the pool table. Previous renters in the weeks before us stated that the pool table was unusable so I messaged the manager to check on the table and they assured me that it was fixed. Well it was not fixed and you could not play a game on it at all. I was very upset especially since that was one of the main things we wanted in a cabin and I had specifically ask if it was repaired and they said yes. Also if you read through the reviews it states they are putting another fridge in the downstairs but there was no fridge there.
