As the cabin is located in the Coosawattee River Resort, guests have access to all the resort amenities include 3 pools, fitness center, game room with arcade games and much more. These animals are wild and should not be petted or fed. \*\*\*The hot tub is a great place to relax. Pets are not allowed in the hot tub. Children must be supervised by an adult while using the hot tub. Use the hot tub AT YOUR OWN RISK! GUEST ACCESS: Free parking for four vehicles is available on the premises. No RVs or Street Parking allowed. We have enabled key-less check in with a key pad on the door. Access codes will be sent to you a few days prior to your arrival. Coosawattee River Resort Amenities: The resort has 2 outdoor pools and an enclosed, heated Junior Olympic-sized pool with 8-feet at the deep end and a large shallow end for the small ones, it's comfortable swimming year-round. A heated kiddie pool is available for the very little ones where they can splash & play in shallow water. Off of the Recreation Center's lobby are the Fitness Center and Game Room. The Fitness Center is complete with treadmills, weight machines, free weights, rowing machines, and exercise bikes. Satellite TV and Wi-Fi are also available. The Game Room is a coin-operated arcade with games, pool tables, and an air hockey machine. The Recreation Center also has other outside attractions, which include tennis, basketball, and pickleball courts, plus an 18-hole miniature golf course. The equipment can be checked out at the Recreation Center desk. Amenity passes are included with the reservation for upto 8 Guests. An additional amenity pass for 4 people can be purchased at the HOA office for $59\. Only cash or check is accepted. This home has been equipped with an outdoor surveillance camera for extra protection. Tampering with the security camera will result in an additional fee of $500. WINTER DRIVING Please be mindful that you are renting a cabin in the mountains and use caution when driving in the winter. The roads leading up to this cabin are relatively flat and not curvy. Most roads in our area are paved and well maintained. There are limited streetlights on mountain roads. We cannot guarantee any road surface conditions. We cannot control the weather and no refunds will be given due to weather conditions, so we recommend the purchase of Travel Insurance for all planned vacations. Travel Insurance will protect your Investment in the event of a weather event that would make roads impassable. This home is in the mountains so you will be driving inclines and declines on a narrow two lane road but it is easy to navigate. The home was clean and had everything we needed as far as kitchen utensils and toiletries to spend the week there. There are lots of deer in the neighborhood and they were always in the yard. The owner was great with communication and treated us exactly how a guest should be treated. We would definitely stay at another one of this hosts VRBO's. 5 STARS all day for this host. ##### Ryan S. The cabin was clean and had everything it advertised, but felt a little smaller than expected on the main floor. There were quite a few cobwebs throughout and the toaster burnt our bagels 2 days in a row....we tried different settings and all (so they could prob use a new toaster). The kids loved the hot tub, as a suggestion it would be nice to have a table and chairs on that level. The beds were comfortable and the front yard with the firepit was bery enjoyable. The chair swing by the fire pit should be fastened down for safety. ##### Elena G. The accuracy of the listing was spot on, the house was so clean, spacious, and had super comfy beds! Fun for ALL ages, from the ping pong table, table soccer, outside fire pit, hot tub, and the card/ board games left for us! The house is in a great spot with beautiful views and got to see a few deer with our one night stay! And let’s talk about the Communication from Piyumi.. he communicated before, during and after our stay and was five star in itself! Already started planning a trip back up! Cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Piyumi went above & beyond and had amazing communication before & during our stay. We especially appreciated the location of the cabin from the main entrance to Coosawattee - it was an easy drive in (once we did it a couple times) and the property does not have a steep driveway. The main downtown area was a very easy drive and there is so much to do within Ellijay - we never even made it up to Blue Ridge as we had planned. We would absolutely stay in this cabin again when we visit Ellijay. ##### Debbie M. The house was clean & well decorated. It was well equipped with all kitchen supplies, towels, all 3 full baths had shampoo conditioner and body wash-even a blow dryer!! The second we walked in the door our grown kids were already asking if we could come back every year. Piyumi was extremely polite, extremely easy to work with and was quick to respond!!
