It was comfortable for the 7 of us and our two dogs. The river is right out the back door and the setting is very quiet and peaceful. Hot tub was a hit with the younger of our crowd. It was a bit chilly at night outside so we didn’t use the outdoor lounge spaces as much but there are plenty there to use. Cabin was clean and spacious. Pets are allowed, with understandable restrictions. There's an enormous amount of deck space. This not only allows your pet/s to run and play without worrying about them running to the neighbors, but also lends to a variety of seating on each level for the humans too. Linens and hot tub are upcharges. The owner is very responsive and kind, if you need anything. There's a charcoal and gas grill. If you are kitchen people, the bakeware is limited. However the local Dollar Store has inexpensive aluminum alternatives. We also had to purchase hangers. If you're a tv watcher, you're set! Chuckle They have every streaming option possible. If you have knee or hip issues, there are stairs. But i think the most steps at a time was 11 or 12\. If you're bringing children, i would recommend one baby gate to block off the stairs down to the river. There are two wineries close by. LuMill within a few minutes. Definitely check out there jelly, jam, and preserves options! Yummy. The cabin feels very private and woodsy, but its literally a few minutes into town. This was our third visit to the cabin and we love staying here!! Oh, youll want to purchase drinking water or bring a filter pitcher. We drink tons of water, so a pitcher is the most economical. We stayed for a week. The cabin and location is lovely.The owners are very responsive and kind. Its ALWAYS clean. Its a wonderful spot! Go ##### Andrea C. Serene river views, plenty of outdoor activities and all the solitude we needed for a peaceful weekend away from the city. Séjour de 4 nuits en août 2024 ### 6/10 – Acceptable #### Terry J. 17 sept. 2024 #### Bringing Back Family Time We booked a Labor Day weekend getaway for my family to escape the electronics and enjoy eating dinners together. We are all so busy with our lives that dinners are all spread out. So a fishing weekend away at a cabin sounded great! We are 6 adults and require 4 bedrooms the listing states 4 bedrooms but 1 of the bedrooms is open and you have to walk through it to get to the master bedroom and to get to go up and down from 1st to 2nd floor because the stairs are right in the room, so there is no privacy it needs to be configured differently. There were little ants on the counters and table constantly so we mixed up some dish soap and apple cider vinegar in a cup to draw them to that while we were there. The outside could use regular power washing to eliminate all the bugs and cobwebs all over the windows, house, and decks. The house is quite a bit in on a long narrow dirt road, so it's best to have at least an SUV, especially if it rains as it did when we were there that dirt road became very slick, and no place to go if another vehicle is coming in the opposite direction. The grounds are beautiful, I feel they need to concentrate on the inside now and maybe all the owners can pool together and work on getting the road paved, as I know it had been flooded just before we got there from Hurricane Debby. The host was very nice answered every question I had, and was very polite. Regardless, I would recommend it to anyone who wants to get away and enjoy some peace and quiet!! ##### Terry J.
