Our thoughtfully designed yurt offers a rare balance of sustainable living and modern comfort—perfect for couples or quiet travelers looking to slow down, reconnect, and rest. This is not rough camping. The yurt is fully equipped with a real bed, air conditioning in summer, a wood-burning stove for cooler months, solar power, WiFi, TV, and a gas burner for cooking. A powered cooler is provided, and the composting toilet is clean, well-maintained, and easy to use. Wake up to birdsong, enjoy your coffee surrounded by nature, and share the land with our friendly farm animals—including goats, chickens, and our gentle Great Pyrenees. Guests are welcome to observe or interact with the animals at their comfort level. Optional Bed & Breakfast Experience Guests may choose to add a customizable farm-style breakfast to their stay. Breakfast can be tailored to dietary needs, including vegan, gluten-free, and food allergies, with advance notice. Available breakfast styles may include: A traditional farm breakfast featuring fresh eggs (when available) Indian and other Asian-inspired favorites A light bakery basket with breads, pastries, and spreads Simple, seasonal offerings using local ingredients Breakfast is prepared thoughtfully and served in a relaxed, self-paced manner to complement the quiet, off-grid experience. Offerings may vary seasonally and are designed to reflect comfort and care rather than a formal restaurant service. About Bathing (Important Information) At this time, there is no on-site shower. The yurt is equipped with a clean, well-maintained composting toilet, handwashing station, and basic wash-up amenities. A greenhouse-style outdoor shower is currently in development and will be added as part of our ongoing efforts to thoughtfully expand the farm while staying true to our off-grid values. Until then, this stay is best suited for guests comfortable with a rustic bathing setup. Events & Gatherings Chaiya Farms is available for small events and gatherings that align with the peaceful nature of the property. I originally booked bc of the proximity to an event I was attending, the good price, and a yurt sounded fun! All of that was amazing, but the place so exceeded my expectations! The place is fully decked out with all the technology, comfort, supplies, and cute furnishings you could wish for. We had power, WiFi, an electric cooler, sink/faucet, fan, kitchen stove, wood burning stove, toilet, smart TV with access to Netflix and Amazon Prime Video, I could go on. The space seems very thought out. Everything is modern, clean, and up to date. I adored the interior and posted a bunch of photos and videos to my social media to brag about my stay The exterior was even more amazing! The front porch was cozy with seating and a view of the farm. Our dogs were so happy to be there and got to see farm animals on the other side of fences to keep everyone safe. Finally, I've never had a host provide any meals, and even after telling them last minute that I was born vegan and gluten free (chef's nightmare) and telling them not to worry about feeding me, they said "no problem" and cooked multiple amazingly delicious and creative meals for me that I ate off all weekend! It was incredible! I had confirmed beforehand that my usual go-to Doordash does deliver to this location but never ended up using it bc they fed me so well all weekend! Super responsive to messages too and proactive!
