    We rented the villa for a very special birthday. Our party included all ages from baby to grandparents. We found the villa to be very clean and comfortable. All the windows had fly screens which was a big bonus as mosquitoes tend to like biting us. The pool was always a lovely temperature and we all enjoyed swimming, diving for toys and playing games every day. The villa itself was spacious and although there were several of us we didn't feel cramped at all. The washing machines were a boon especially for the younger ones and we had daily family tennis, 5 a side and table football tournaments...All thanks to the games room being fully equipped. The presence of 3 bathrooms meant we had ample bathing facilities. We enjoyed our opportunities to sit together at meal times or relax on the veranda on the warm evenings. I would advise having a car, especially for getting groceries etc although there are a few restaurants around. We had a lovely meal at Monumental. From the villa, there is easy(car) access to Santa Pola(beach) la marina for beach and market. Gran Alacant(dining out) and a very large shopping centre called Eroski which has a multitude of shop/eateries and a large supermarket. The roads are all good and the airport is easily reached(by car) as taxi is expensive from there to the villa. We found the owners to be very gracious and helpful at all times before and indeed since our stay. …
