The hotel was lovely and the surroundings perfect with a swimming pool and beautiful sitting area. What did seem odd that there was no bar to relax in. One restaurant member told us we could not sit of an evening for drinks only and that we should go in to the bar of the restaurant itself? When checking out the very good receptionist told us that we should have been able to get drinks and sit outside on the ratten chairs that were available. So when we do visit the hotel again we are now aware of our positions as hotel guests. We otherwuse really enjoyed the hotel. Rooms where comfortable and the breakfast perfect and very much to our liking.

The house was clean but the pool was dirty and some of the outside furniture were in really bad condition. No nice wine glasses and the towels did smell so bad, that we had to wash them before we could use them. There was no internet for 8 days. We did of course complain about it in the beginning but to my opinion, the caretaker of the property was not doing his job. He didn't speak english and we don't speak spanish so the communication was not easy, and thats not a positive thing

The bathroom at the suite at the end of the hallway needs bigger drain and doors. Everything floods to easily. Otherwise, the unit was perfect. Lovely staff and good residential location.

The main reason I can’t be more positive is the road works outside the hotel. There are major excavations going on with huge piling machines and relentless noise, which quite frankly ruined the peaceful holiday we had hoped for. I am aware that the hotel is not responsible, but we should have been made aware of this before we booked/travelled. It was every day from 7am to 7pm! Some guests left and booked in to other hotels. The other disappointment for us was the room. We paid extra for a room with a terrace, but there was no view or sun as the trees blocked it. Also, unsightly pipe work level with our terrace. Not as the photos advertised! Would not return.
