Very nicely maintained. An old style building with large windows open to a beautiful view of landscape. The entire place is decorated nicely. The front desk staff Matías is very helpful. He helped us book a tour in the last minute while the original booked tour failed to pick us up in the morning as originally scheduled. While it is an older hotel, it’s clean and well kept. The breakfast had a lot of good options and we enjoyed it every morning. It was an easy 10 minute walk to downtown and the hotel offered free bikes to use if needed. Staff were friendly and helpful and the on-site restaurant was great food and convenient - we were even able to take wine back to our room from there even though it's separately operated from the hotel. Room was spacious - though we requested one bed, we were allocated a twin room - not a big deal as the beds were still comfortable, it just wasn't acknowledged that the room preference could not be met. The accessibility of the power plugs in the room wasn't ideal - nothing by the beds or the desk. And a mini fridge in the room would have been helpful. Property is dated, but very clean. Our room was a decent size, but the bathroom was small with no place to hang towels. Hot water and water pressure was good, Wi-Fi was good. There was no AC and it was quite warm, our first 2 days, so an AC or ceiling fan would have helped. The staff did provide a portable fan, when I asked. We could not open the windows because of insects, and there is no patio attached to the room. The walk to the center of town was over 20 minutes. The breakfast was very good with a decent spread. We liked having a mini fridge and ample space to store our luggage and we appreciated the 6am breakfast start, since we had an early morning tour. The hotel is about a 10 minute drive from the town centre.
