Red House Hostel
2.0 star property
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (17)
"Staff were very helpful and friendly. Can book the bus to el chalten or Perito Morino through them. Only real negative was having one bathroom for a largeish dorm, and the shower only sort of worked (would expect that to be standard for the area though) Breakfast is decent, self serve with coffee, toast, eggs pancakes. "Pretty nice hostel, pretty basic but standard breakfast better than other hostels I stayed at in the area. A little expensive for a hostel but again that’s just the price you pay in the southern regions. Nice facility and fast wifi, kitchen was fairly large and lots of space to accommodate guests"

Hostel Buenos Aires
1.5 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (1)
"Nice, and importantly for us, quiet hostel. While there was a shared kitchen and bathroom this was not a young party hostel. It was very quiet and very clean. Nothing fancy, but no complaints from us. It's just a few blocks from the main street for restaurants and shops. And we made use of the kitchen for breakfast, lunch and one dinner. "

La Loma Self Apart & Suites
1.0 star property
7.0 out of 10, Good, (21)
"We stayed at Hotel La Loma on the way to and from both El Chalten and Torres Del Paine. It was in a perfect location, just a couple of hundred metres from the bus station and on the same level, so no need to carry bags up and down the stairs from the main road. It had a lovely swimming pool and large gardens to relax in. The staff were great too. Would definitely stay there again."

Hostel de las Manos
2.0 star property
6.4 out of 10, (6)
"Location was ok. Not too far from the center. Should be paved、dirt is a messy situation rain or shine. The bathrooms were hideous、dark、and built poorly. Rooms were at the minimum: small and white. Beds were alright 、less comfortable than other hostels of same or lower price. Didnt get a chance to eat breakfast because left early、but tge set up looked really nice. Staff's English isn't good enough to run a hostel."

Hospedaje Norte Calafate - Hostel
1.0 star property
4.6 out of 10, (8)
"Stray dogs from the street came in and defaecated on the carpet upstairs, outside our bedroom door. The owner removed the mess but the carpet was stained and no attempt was made to clean it using disinfectant. The breakfast provided was poor with no ham, cheese or cereals so we had to bring our own although there were no kitchen facilities available. The bedroom was very small with insufficient space between beds, made worse by the need to move one bed to access the electrical socket. A...

"The grounds are beautiful, bursting with flowers that are clearly well tended to. Room itself has nice charm and a beautiful view of the lake. We arrived extremely late due to a flight delay, but we were met by a member of their staff who drove to the hotel after midnight to check us in. They also reached out to arrange our airport pickup, which was really appreciated. Staff was incredibly nice and made us feel very welcome. Breakfast delivery is to your door the night before, nice touch. We...
