My grandmother and I LOVED this cozy place. It was nice to have a cabin all to ourselves and our own beds that were very comfortable! The TV and wifi worked wonderfully (it has been one of the only places with a TV on our stay so far) so we enjoyed a nice movie and coziness on the comfortable couch while it rained at night. The views are incredible & it is Fall time so the leaves are orange and yellow and beautiful against the mountains! The shower was hot & the appliances all worked well for cooking our own meals. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling in the area! Our cottage had a full bedroom, pullout couch and full kitchen. The town is about a 15 min drive where you can pick up groceries at the grocery store, Bonus, and eat at the local bar/grill, Salt. The main house even had an EV charger! Everything in our room worked great and we had no issues. We absolutely loved our stay here and wished we had booked a second night. The location was perfect. Only 12kms from Eglisstadir, so not too far off the main roads. It was quiet and peaceful with beautiful views all around. Sitting out on our patio that evening, the only sound we could hear was the little waterfall adjacent to the property. We got up early and hiked up into the hills before we left. The cottage was cozy and just the right size for our family of 4\. The bed was comfortable and I had my best night's sleep of the holiday here. It wasn't fancy accommodation, but it was perfect for our family with 2 young children.
